Context: We stayed from Jan 8-15, 2017. My sister's family chose this resort mainly because of the price point. This was my second time to Cuba, last time was 13 years ago at Amigo Atlantico, which is also out of Holguin airport. I've also stayed at one of those mega resorts on the Mayan Riviera in Mexico before. Pros: • A...

Our family of 4 just returned from Brisas Covarrubias, staying there from Dec 30 to Jan 6th. We had never been to Cuba before, and My wife and I only have limited experience at all inclusive resorts. We were told not to have high expectations in Cuba of resort quality and especially food quality. We had 2 rooms, and they...

This is my 5th time to Cuba and first time at this little resort. Yes, its a long drive from the airport, but we knew that gong in. We had no problem with that as we were able to enjoy seeing more of this beautiful country. I might not have enjoyed the trip if we'd arrived during the evening, but...

Booked 3 days before departure to Brisas Corvarrubias for Xmas holiday with my family, and would like to give my honest opinion about this 3 stars hotel. BEACH -An average beach with sea weeds and Littles Rocks, you have to find a clear spot to enter to the water, there were always a brownish water coming from the lagoon next...

Truly hard to review The negatives First the distance, man is it far from the airport. 2-2.5 hours away of a boring drive. The hotel also needs renovations. The rooms are badly outdated not everything works properly. Lights at night to and from rooms are burnt. Only one buffet and one a-la-carte. Only 3 bars for drinks. Long line-ups at...

I have been to Cuba many, times without submitting a review but I had to come to the defense of this small out of the way resort and its people. This place is not perfect but what's perfect? Lets put things into perspective. The cost to stay in a room at a Holiday Inn in Toronto is $135 - $175...

Our stay this December coincided with the Cova’s 18th anniversary and quite a few changes have taken place since our visit last year. Our first impression on arrival was how spotless the property is. Mind you, the resort was almost empty. There is a new crew of gardeners and they were busy doing new plantings for the upcoming tourist season....

This is a very late review of this hotel since we were there last March break. We travelled with family and there was a mixt feelings about this resort. The airport is 2 hours away but it does offer you the opportunity to see the country side. Personally, I enjoyed its small size and out of the way seclusion. The...
