Hospederia San Francisco used to be a Franciscan Monastery and then textile factory. Finally it was recently refurbished and turned into a very picturesque hotel. The location is really spectacular, with beautiful views from the rooms. Our room was called Bella Vista and it definitely delivered on the promise. In terms of the hotel itself, it offers basic amenities: you...

We stayed 2 nights. The room was basic, but perfectly adequate. Spotlessly clean, very attentive staff, car parking available for 5 euro per night. Free herbal teas available at all times. Wi-fi could be temperamental, but worked most of the time. Air conditioning in room. Shower gel and soap in bathroom. Clean towels daily. Basic but adequate breakfast. Requested extra...

Reception was closed when we arrived at 1500 without being advised in advance. Although we only waited 10 minutes for someone to arrive, the check in was rushed and without much interest. The old monastery has been reformed buy was still very monastic and didn't offer a warm, welcoming feel at all. It was a bit uncared for with no...

The entrance to the hotel was lovely as was the cloister. However the bedrooms were quite pokey and basic. I was alone in a twin bedded room but still found it difficult to unpack my suitcase. The rooms are totally without charm, not even one picture on the walls. I found the breakfast to be very poor. The orange juice...

A pleasant little property although to call it a hotel is a bit misleading. Our room was very nice, comfortable and clean with a nice view and the central courtyard was very picturesque. It is very hard to get to by car with the road leading to it being little more than an alley with inches to spare either side...

The SatNav took us straight to the Main Street, with the hotel a stone's throw away. We parked and walked there. It is located in a lovely square, tucked in the corner of the church. The concierge was most helpful, giving us a map and indicating where we could park for free in the nearby Paseo De Columbia around Plaza...

Stayed for 1 night whilst stopping off in Priego between Seville and Granada. As others have said, looks like a recent conversion and the attached church is still in operation. Also found it difficult to find, although sat nav pretty much got it. We stopped in the street (one way) to unload our bags etc. We did not use the...

Lovely old building in a lovely old town (Priego is well worth a visit). It's advisable to study a map to assess where the hotel is. Park nearby on the nearest two way road (to the east) and then walk the 300 meters or so to the hotel. There you will get a key to the car park, which is...

Stopped at this hotel for one night whilst passing through Priego de Cordoba. The hotel is part of an old monastery and all the rooms seem to have been recently refurbished as they were immaculate. Not a paint chip or spot of dirt anywhere. The staff were extremely helpful, really welcoming with nothing too much trouble. Parking is a bit...
