We chose this camping to be close to Calvi but out of the crowds. It turned out to be a good choice. Nice campground on a hill, several levels ‘terrasses’ and a sometime steep walk to the central facilities. Small shop with just essentials eg daily bread, small pool and a restaurant bar (serving a decent pizza). We did not need more. Calvi is a 20 min ride (without traffic). Better beaches to be found in a short drive closer to the campground (you do need a car). Regarding the name ‘panoramique’; from many points you get a view on the sea down below, but you need to be lucky to find a spot with a direct view (maybe one out of ten). The lower levels offer the best views. Most places are shaded. Several sanitary blocks give good access on most levels, all properly cleaned. The camping does reserve spots if you call. Most people come with a tent. We travelled with a caravan. With a little courage and a strong enough car (which you need on Corsica anyway) you can access the top 3 levels. There are a few permanent caravans. Here and there you find some old permanently placed trailer caravans, gives an ugly view here and there. One last great feature. The location has nog mobile data coverage for your mobile! There is WIFI at the pool.

Of all the campsites we visited in Corsica, this was our favorite! Great setting, amazing views over the sea, friendly reception, lovely swimming pool, peaceful and quiet. There was also a little shop with basic needs. Just perfect!

This camping is very essential and if you are looking for facilities that you don't really need in a camping, probably it is not the right place for you. It is located in a small village close to Calvi, far from mass tourism, and it offers an incredible view on the west coast. I stopped here just for one night, but it was enough to really appreciate the atmosphere and the courtesy of the owners. It also has a small but nice swimming pool which you can use for free. Two people + car and small tent around 20 euros.

Lovely campsite with panoramic views overlooking the sea(when you poke your head between the trees!). Nice pool and bar area although there is not a lot of space to sit around the pool and chill - unless you buy a drink from bar. Restaurant sells the nice pizza at reasonable price along with a range of drinks and cocktails. Toilet facilities are excellent with nice hot showers in the evening (solar showers so hotter at night). No hot water for washing up. The reception sells basic provisions and frozen mineral water is available for 2€ , there is also a washing machine as well. Pitches are really nice with plenty of shade available although it's a bit of a trek from the top terrace down to the toilet blocks. The drops between the terraces where tents are pitched are very steep particularly at the top of the site so be careful if you have very young children! Approx 40€ a night for a family of four.

We stayed here as our very last night in Corsica. What a find!!! Tucked away from the edge of the sea, way into the hills . . . but oh so worth the journey. The views over the sea are spectacular (see photos). And with the sun setting within your view it was a god send to be there. The lady and owner was so friendly and welcoming too. And had a lovely little store which we could replenish goods at. As well as use laundry facilities. They have a swimming pool too (we didn't use though). and their in house restaurant served the best pizzas we'd had in Corsica. And to think we'd nearly stayed at the hell hole Camping Bodri way down below. Thank god we found this place. Pitches lovely and level with lots of room to set up. Well organised. Could do with more showers though . . . but in fairness, they were great showers. All in all, the best campsite we'd visited. Thanks so much Luke and Katie
