Lovely hotel just up the hill from Fiscardo but there a courtesy cars to run up and down as requires. The hotel offers magnificent views over the sea with a wide variety of type of rooms and a various prices. The facilities are second to none and of course a lovely choice of restaurants serving both Greek and International food...

We stayed for a week in September. After the drive from the airport the staff were very welcoming on arrival, offering a drink and a sit down, with no lengthy check in procedures. We had just booked a standard garden room, but got a free upgrade to a room with a fantastic sea view and private pool. Really liked the...

Pros: Location, location, location. nice walking path to downtown Fiskardo. We took it multiple times per day. If it rains it can be muddy, but then just take the road instead. There are plenty of beaches and hikes within walking distance as well (we did the Battery hike, message me if you want details as there is little info on...

We spent a week at the Emelisse Hotel in October, it was quieter but absolutely delightful. The views are outstanding and we were upgraded to a junior suite with a sea view due to the hotel not being full. The rooms are very tasteful, comfy beds with linen changed daily. Breakfast was excellent, fruit, yoghurt, bread, cheese and eggs. The...

We stayed for a week at the Emelisse at the end of September for our minimoon. My partner, having stayed a few years ago, was expecting great things but unfortunately the whole experience just didn't quite live up to our expectations of a truly 5* hotel. The positives: - The staff who were absolutely wonderful. Very attentive and helpful, always...

Booked this holiday as Fiscardo is my husbands favourite place. 60th birthday present and thought adults only when booked with Thomson! Not the hotel's fault but listed wrongly by Thomson as children are allowed with other tour operators. The week we spent there was perfect as there were very few children but I understand summer peak time is manic. The...

We only had the vaguest idea what this hotel would be like, having never been to the island before, because the reviews we'd read hadn't really captured its character. I probably won't do much better but would encourage people to come if they want a beautiful location and a very restful atmosphere. The views north over the channel to Lefkas...

I first visited Fiscardo many years ago and it has always been one of my favourite spots in Greece. After a gap of 16 years we re-visited and were not at all disappointed. It is a beautiful, unspoilt village yet has quite some sophistication with a number over very good restaurants spread around the harbour. Since my last visit, the...

Arrived on a very thundery wet night after a long journey through mountains. Were greeted by Pedros who instantly made us feel very welcome and arranged to have an evening meal even though everyone had been and gone to the restaurant by the time of our arrival. The food was freshly cooked for us and was excellent. Our room was...

We stayed for a few nights in a lovely suite and found the dark and neutral tones quite earthy and relaxing. The staff were extremely warm and knowledgeable - even gave us great maps with handwritten directions to places. Breakfast was nice enough although they did not offer typical Greek breakfasts on all occasions. The location offered an amazing base...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
THE HOTELSituated above Emplisis bay overlooking a unique painting of nature, this resort is hidden out of sight, among cedars and cypress trees. From an architect’s point of view a finely tuned pallet of multicultural influence creates an environment of high aesthetics and post-modern design. Space consultant Sophocles Maraveyas has combined an ambience of serenity with original pieces of furniture and local architecture elements. Note that this is the only establishment in Greece to use teak wood items to furnish rooms, all painted in subtle pale shades, and decorated with pictures from artwork photographer Tatiana Karapanagioti, highlighted by the cleverly hidden support lights.HOTEL LOCATIONHotel is located above Emplisis bay, close to the picturesque port and fishing village of Fiskardo, which is within close proximity; it will take not more than 15 minutes to reach, walking distance.
