Although the Apartments are up a rather steep hill this didn't stop us from enjoying this beautiful part of Corfu. Our apartment was basic but had everything we needed. I believe the owners are in the process of updating them. The owners Christos and Katerina...More
I Absolutly love this place! Thank you so much Christos and Katerina for making our family holiday so special!

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 children and 17 other family members for our grandparents 55th wedding anniversary. After reading the reviews i was really anxious about going, especially as I have a 11 week old baby and the comments about hygiene...More
We have just returned from Arianna, three ladies travelling together. It was our first time at these apartments, and feel I must defend the negative comments about Christos. He is a lovely man who goes out of his way to help you. He gave us...More
Not only would I be reviewing the Arianna due to it being an incredible hotel, but upon reading so many awful reviews I feel like I would 100% like to defend the owners. I first visited in 2013 with my partner and had a fantastic...More

paleo is beautiful, however, staying at Arianna is risky. christos tries to dictate your holiday and is renowned in the area for his aggressive, selfish and nastiness towards his guests. as you have read hes not like it all the time or with everyone - that's the risk. if you spend all your time and money at his apartments then he's more likely to welcome you. his apartments are not great, nor is his food. no menu or prices for food or drink. pale offers great tavernas and amazing views so who wants to stay at dingy arianna 24/7? we saw guests in tears, some moved to more welcoming accommodations all because christos made them so miserable! i could go on as lots i could say - go to paleo but see if you can AVOID Arianna. if you do go, good luck!

We found the owners quite rude and abrupt with us as we rarely spent any time (or money) in their bar, whereas people who did were treated differently, having said that, we had booked a self catering holiday and we found the tavernas in the town offering better food in a nicer atmosphere and often at a cheaper price, so we just ignored his grumpy comments and did what we like!

The only thing I will say is that Christos and Katerina have some 21 rooms that are occupied by their own guests. If people come in from the road they are more than welcome, but surely when you see them drinking and eating their own food around the pool and sitting on the sun beds without any contribution towards the upkeep of the place I would also implement this rule. They are genuinely warm hearted, funny, generous and warm hearted people and Katerina cooks excellent food of an evening. When we were there a woman who had just arrived said after she booked the Arianna she looked at trip advisor and almost cancelled, by the end of the holiday she has booked to go back next year. We love it there and have known them for 22 years now and are also going back next year. I hope this puts your mind at rest. Martin.
