We forgot to mention in our review that we met some lovely friends from England, Germany, France and Italy. You know who you all are. They all made our holiday extra special and we will all stay in touch. Max, Jeannie, Wolfgang, Silke and Julica….see you at Kamari in October. Claudio and Debbie x
This was our first time at to Kamari beach hotel and will not be our last. Front of the house - we would like to thank Mano and the lovely lady I think her name was Martina. We were welcomed and treated very well by these two and looked after. The catering staff - was amazing and especially a lady called Milena who made sure what foods I could eat as I have a dairy allergy. Milena was always polite and very helpful and was amazing with our baby. The bar staff guy called Rakib who I will miss as he was so helpful and friendly and shows great customer interaction. The cleaners were amazing and always cleaned to perfection The hotel alone was very relaxed and chilled and not loud people like all the other hotels. A private swimming pool and not being busy in the pool was perfect for our baby. Even the Covid Dr who does the fit to fly test at a cost of 35 euros was a pleasant surprise and nice. We have made friends like a big family at Kamari beach and cant wait to go back next year. See you all next year. Tang, Tem, baby Ocienne xxx …
The staff was hospitable and friendly. The bartenders were smiling and telling jokes. The food was buffet style; good some days, ok on others, BUT, we knew that going in. Expect good food for most meals, but nothing fantastic. The pool and beach views were incredible. Because it is away from Lindos and Rhodes, you truly feel like you can detach and get away from the rest of the world. If your goal is to stay connected, I can relay that their wifi is not the fastest. This was a good hotel, a fair amount of amenities, and is well-priced for being on a Greek Island.
The breathtaking view from every corner of the hotel, the frappe coffee by the pool, the cocktails at the sunrise, the barbecue and the live music nights, everything was just amazing!! But nothing would be as it is without the staff of the hotel. Each and every one of hotel's personnel are amazing, honestly helpful and joyful, always there to help you have an amazing experience. All the waiters, the kitchen staff, the cleaners, the receptionists, they make you feel welcome and valuable. We have spend 12 days at Kamari Beach and will come back next summer!!
This hotel is located in Lardos. It is only about 10-15 minutes from Lindos. It has very good quiet location right at the beach, which I personally appreciate. The point is that it isn't a proper 4-star hotel. It is more like 3,5 because there are some things that I wouldn't expect to find in a 4-star hotel, however I really like it. It is just informative because if you expect the same class as the 4- star Lindos princess you might be disappointed by it. HOTEL & EXTERIORS: I like it because the exterior was bright and modern I also really like wooden sun loungers with mattresses, they were really comfortable. The pool size was over average for hotel of this capacity. It wasn't overcrowded even we stayed there in July. The hotel was modernised however you could still find old furniture such as old wooden tables with chairs, some scratched windows. I don't mind it at all but it was under the standards of 4-star hotel. BEACH: I wouldn't recommend it for small children because of entrance with a lot of stones. I also recommend to wear a special "sea boots" which protects your feet during entering the sea. Sun loungers at the beach were the same quality as in the pool and all of them were free of charge. The water was really clean because it is near the small cliff it is brilliant for snorkeling. FOOD & STAFF: Food was very good, I liked it. The offer was quite average but enough for me. The vast majority of staff was very friendly and helpful however some of them were little bit unadapted for standards of 4-star hotel. The dining room was ok and the terrace has fantastic views. ROOM: We ordered standard double room but we got a family room instead so I was very satisfied. It was quite large and comfortable. Balcony was large too so I have no complaints about that. That was a proper 4-star hotel room. Bathroom was furnished with quite an expensive furniture which I have last seen in 5-star hotel so it was very good. I was satisfied with the housekeeping as well. All in all I liked Kamari Beach, even it wasn't perfect. It is nice small hotel in quiet location that I will recommend to anyone going to Rhodes. It is the best price-value hotel in Lardos.…
