Not safe in case of medical emergency. Would never go there again. Staff did not act properly when asked to call 911. Even after a guest who was a doctor and another guest who was an ambulance driver advised them to do as quick as possible. 911 was eventually called by another guest after 15 minutes after arriving at the front desk. Crucial minutes were lost because staff needed to ask managers before calling 911. Very disappointed that there was no follow up after arriving back at the hotel.
All in all, we enjoyed our vacation. Visiting Greece is never a disappointment but the hotel partly was. If it was advertised as a 3 star hotel I would actually enjoy it, but it is far from a 5 star standard. The hotel needs renovation. The rooms are in a poor condition with rusty, old-fashioned furniture. They are very impractical as well. There was only one unused power socket in a room, the bathroom had a huge milk glass window that faced the bedroom and you could see somebody take a shower. The hotel was praised for providing a rich entertainment program. I visited a lot of all inclusive hotels and the animation team would entertain guests all day long offering aqua aerobik, darts, volleyball, games and evening shows. During my stay at Costa Lindia it was silent all day. I only spotted 2 people from the animation team either having dinner or drinks in the Rotonda bar. They never made an effort to perform in the evenings, the only thing they did was lousy bingo nights. The food in the main restaurant was okay. The choice wasn’t big (don’t prepare for omellete stations at breakfasts) but it tasted good. Although I would recommend adding a snack bar as the only thing that you could find between breakfast, lunch and dinner were cold sandwiches that you had to ask for at the pool bar. Hotels I went to would usually provide snacks such as french fries, burgers and cakes during the day, but in Costa Lindia you had to walk around hungry, waiting for the dinner time. Drinks were poor quality as well. The hotel was filled with Germans and even though I have nothing against them I wish it had more consideration towards other nations. When I spoke with the waiter, he would automatically reply in German, 3/4 of the TV channels were German. Another downside was WiFi that only worked in the main building and rooms. On the bright side, the beach was huge and well-kept, right by the hotel. The rooms were big and spacious, and the location was nice, only 20 min from Lindos. The staff was always nice and worked hard. From the outside, the hotel looked like a Greek village which was quite charming. Overall, Costa Lindia fares relatively well compared to other 3 star hotels, but not so much if you pitch it against 4 star resorts, let alone 5 star luxurious ones. I believe that if the downsides I wrote about were improved it would be a nice option for future guests.…

Just having escaped the rainy UK the very last minute due to Covid 19, arriving at Costa Lindia Beach was most definitely 'a breath of fresh air' + most definitely a grrrreat adventure! A fascinating resort, yummy food, the different pools, stunning animation and the location straight at the beach - a dream come true! But the very very best, of course, was the absolute amaaaazing + super-friendly MULTI TASKING staff! \o/ my favourites in general were: Breakfast in the sun, Lunch at the Italian restaurant and the yummy ice cafees - these were a DAILY MUST! THANK YOU, THE PRECIOUS HOTEL TEAM <3 YOU all rock!!!
Upon arrival our room was not as expected. it had some issues . having brought these matters to the attention of the customer service manager on several occasions . we were moved to a better room which was very nice. the facilities are ok. the staff all work very hard and are very pleasant. The food is good a lot of variety although the a al carte food was not to our liking. the bar staff always knew what we were going to order. the beach bar is lovely. the entertainment was not always to our liking but we all have our own tastes. The hotel is orientated to other nationalities. lots of minor faults that need dealing with around the hotel. i.e. broken bathplugs, blocked drains, and damage electrical covers and loose sockets and parts that could be easly repaired. but it was towards the end of season. so it could be ware and tear of the season. the rooms need soundproofing noise issues in both rooms even though the people are not being loud. it would be nice if they stopped people reserving sun beds all day when not is use. the customer service manager reception staff and all the other staff are pleasant and helpfull.…
