My husband and I were there for three weeks and were initially delighted by the room and the warm welcome we received. Sadly we were to be disappointed again and again. The first week we found ourselves near the front of the hotel where every noisy drunken person passed by late at night shouting and slamming doors until the early hours...

Great location, the rooms are clean, and very good for the category/price, though they can be a bit dark, depending on which room you get! The breakfast is included, a bit basic, but again, for most it will be more than enough! Best thing about this hotel is the nice pool, and the location right across the street from the...

Considering this hotel is "just" 3 star hotel, and on top of that in Greece, I was extremely surprised when we arrived. I was expecting classic dump which you normally get in Greece as 3 star hotel, and which should be closed years ago. But not this one. This one is different. We have been in few hotels around Greece...

This is the second time we have stayed here. The rooms are a reasonable size and are kept spotlessly clean although they are a little dated. Air conditioning and safe are charged separately but the charge is reasonable and the room rate is fairly cheap to. Their is a lovely pool with views over the mountains and their is a...

We have stayed at the Athena for the past 5 years. Cannot praise it highly enough. The owners are very nice people and very helpful. The rooms are of a good standard, kept very clean. The location is excellent, across road from the beach and there are some very good bars and restaurants with walking distance. Lovely place to stay....

Well the last time we where here it was 3 years ago. The Hotel is pretty much the same except no more dog. The owners said they moved him to their farm where there is more room. Apparently he got very big by everyone going by and feeding him. I miss him because I would take him every morning for...

We had a room with a sea view and balcony situated towards the front of the hotel and overlooking local Tavernas. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was adequate but basic. Cleanliness was very high. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Athena is a typical small Greek hotel, basic but very clean with all the staff helpful and accommodating, we were greeted warmly from all the staff and other hotel guests on a daily basis. Our room was a reasonable size with it has to be said a small but powerful shower, each room has its own outdoor space terrace or...
