My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful week in Vasilikos, fortunately not in the hotel that we had originally booked!! We had booked (and paid for) a week’s B+B in a studio apartment with a pool view at the Arion Renaissance Hotel, and received written confirmation of our booking, (We booked the Arion partly on the basis...

World economy Crises –result to the tourism The tourism truth is that the charter fights must have 100% fullness ,otherwise the problems like XL airlines will be more often . To succeed this , the sales of the rooms are without stopping and the result is Like (the guest to the room 1 ). Room 1 is a studio near...

We booked really last minute (on Fri, arrived Sun) and had a wonderfully relaxing stay. It's a genuinely family-run hotel and everyone is very friendly and helpful. Our top-floor room got pretty hot during the day. There was optional aircon, but we preferred the natural temperature to an artificial chill. The bathroom was small and the shower had no shower...

You get what you paid for. It is a simple hotel. But if you are not too spoiled, spend your day outdoors and need a room to sleep and shower , you will be okay here. You can dry your bathing suits on the balcony and there are clean sheets to sleep on. Other reviewers already said enough about breakfast,...

This was our 2nd visit to the Arion and will not be our last. The staff are friendly and always welcome you with a smile. We have always found if you are pleasent with the people you wil be treated the same. George seems to work every hour that God sends and is always willing to help out with anything....

Saw some bad reviews on here but thought I'd judge for myself, this was the cheapest deal I could find - supposed to be 2 star but was way above that. The location was just lovely - a peaceful little town surrounded by gorgeous countryside - olive groves, goats, chickens, hills, beaches, forests and not too many tourists. Breakfast was...

We booked to stay at Arion Renaissance Hotel for 2 weeks 15-29 May this year. THEN I read the reviews on this site. I was extremely concerned and very nearly changed our accommodation having read all the dismal and negative remarks. We found the hotel really good value for money. The staff are friendly enough ... George is lovely ......

My partner and I (27 and 34) were looking for a quiet relaxing break somewhere hot at the end of September and half board vassilikos in Zante seemed to tick all of the boxes. On arriving at our hotel (Arion) at 4am we were greeted by George (more about him later) and with in half an hour we were in...

the tv is too small for a 3 star hotel. the phone is useless in a cell phone world. the bathroom is very small. the whirlpool has cold water in it. the shower curtain was covered with slime and too long. when the shower filled with water the drain in the floor would overflow into the bath room. you could...

The opinions of each customer are respectable, consequently and the bad reports that we saw in the internet for our hotel, even if they made as sad, they are also respectable.. However to avoid misunderstandings and in order for all of you to hear ours opinion as well,we owe to answer in this categories.Mister Travelin D1966 came in our hotel with...

Unfortunately we tend to agree with the negative reviews. This place does not deserve a 4- stars rating and the pictures on its website are very deceitful. The room was okay for the purpose of sleeping , with very basic furnishing, periodically failing air conditioning and a tiny shower room. The pool area--too small for the hotel but who wants...

After reading the reviews for this hotel we went with an open mind. Our room was adequate but no shower curtain in the bathroom meant every time we showered everywhere was drenched! The was no TV/mini bar as featured on their website. The breakfast was exactly the same the entire 2 weeks we were there with no variation whatsoever. I...

I will start using the last lines of this article Liked — Nice hotel and lovely pool area Disliked — The owners The general meaning of this note shows the differences with the owners and theirs personalities.
