This is a beautiful hotel and very clean. The rooms are spacious and modern. They provide a hairdryer, Iron and ironing board. We stayed half board and there is so much delicious food on offer we did not need to eat during the day. The Wi-fi seems to have been fixed so no problem

Could not fault this hotel. Booked the holiday break the hotel was actually built but well lived up to the artists impression. We had s mezzanine room overlooking the pool with beautiful sea view. Hotel spotlessly clean and staff could not be faulted for their tireless efforts

Can anyone recommend any nice restaurants near by worth visiting and what day trips are available? Thankyou
Hi, we ate at CostaAnita just across the road from Aloe Boutique twice, reasonably priced meals and well presented. the slow roast belly pork was delicious. Another one was Dimitris' Taverna, went there day and evening as the atmosphere in there was really good and the food too. Had the stifado at The Lagos taverna right at the end of the village that was lovely but the service is a bit haphazard (or was when we ate there)! Think most places in Almyrida are reasonable. NB. Most places will give you a small pudding and a raki at the end of the meal 'on the house' so saves on paying for dessert! Didn't go on any day trips apart from catching the local bus to Chania. Think there is somewhere that does organised trips in the village though. There are also two nice bakeries for mid morning coffee, cakes or savouries too.
