We had been recommended this place by a couple of people (and as the hotel down the road was so busy we agreed to check in here) . It looks incredibly stylish with the Arabic feel to the decor very cool looking. I want to be clear that Axel, an assistant manager, worked really hard to make our stay a...

We had a great holiday at Swahili beach ressort. It is a beautiful setting, very clean, excellent staff. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were lovely, the swiming pools great and of course access to the ocean. I am looking forward to going back sometime.

This is a very nice resort, especially for families. The upside is that the rooms are huge and comfortable and the pool is fantastic and families will have a really nice time swimming in it. The food in the restaurants are pretty good and the hotel arranged for barbeque/diner on the grounds (outside) when we were there and it was...

I decided to visit Swahili Beach Hotel for a meal only last week after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor. Hotel architecture and settings do not disappoint. Beautifully laid out hotel with lovely swimming pools that seem to spill into each other. Drove from North Coast to have lunch at Baharani Restaurant within the Hotel. The manager in the main...

Checked in on Wednesday. I must say disappointed does not even begin to describe how I feel. I am checking out tomorrow and I shall not be back. House keeping is equal to making the bed only. No change of towels, they dont even clean the drinking glasses. My friend in the next room did not even enjoy the pleasure...

I came during a crowded time, over Easter, and you could feel that when checking in. The staff has trouble answering simple questions like switching your Half-Board meals. You either get half board-two buffet meals (must be breakfast and dinner unless you ask for a one time voucher) or full board which includes three buffet meals a day. I highly...

Swahili Beach hotel has awesome design and architecture. Right from the moment you enter the reception, the themes which hit you are those of space, peace, and attention to visual details. Beautifully set up, from the narrow alleys around the room blocks that evoke a feel of old town mombasa, to the expansive swimming pools, the large swahili style rooms...

Dear Mehul, Thank you for your wonderful description of Swahili Beach Hotel's architecture and visual beauty. Your description indeed, captures the thinking behind the owners design of the hotel. We are tempted to plagiarise it to use in our marketing literature. The coral rock and seaweed on the beach are natural phenomenon which we have very little control over. Seaweed...

Very nice resort with several pools which gives a sense of privacy. The private beach is really nice. The rooms are quite large, quiet and comfy. The only negative point was service at the restaurant which varies a lot: some members of staff are excellent while others seem to lack training or were over-worked.
