Stopped into the seaview restaurant in the Granvue hotel for lunch while cycling the Great Eastern Greenway from Carlingford. Nice outdoor seating area with a fabulous view on the Lough. Sanitising stations were very visible inside and the place was spotlessly clean. The staff/owner’s were very friendly and the food was delicious. Very reasonable prices and the Guinness was good too. Family run business, very prominently placed at the end of the greenway and a welcome sight for food/toilet break.

This hotel is owned by a 90-year old Irish gentleman, who actually lives in one of the rooms. He used to take one of the higher rooms on the second or thirth floor, bvut after a nasty fall he can now be found at ground level. But he rarely shows himself, adding to the mistery of this historical place. Since this place still goes without a website, let alone Booking.com you might just have it for yourself. That is: when the locals are not around, to meet, and talk fisherman-tales about long gone times. A must-visit when you want to say in the Carlingford-area.…

Went to Omeath as a family of four for a friend’s Birthday. We stayed in a large room with views over the water. Plenty of space for 4 with an adjoining bathroom. Excellent shower. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very warm and welcoming. Excellent breakfast in the morning. I’d definitely stay again.

We stopped off here with the kids while cycling the Greenway from Carlingford. It's in a lovely sunny water font location making it an ideal place to relax for a bit. We were greeted by very friendly staff and really enjoyed the step back in time vibe.

We stayed here for long weekend in June . It was a lovely family run business and willie was outstanding. The views are breath taking . Breakfast was fabulous . All down stairs rooms are wheelchair friendly and so is the outside terrain to access the hotel. This is not a modern hotel but is a lovely family run hotel , the setting on the water having breakfast and the location , it's well worth a visit .
