Absolutely amazing service, food accommodation. The family who own this place are wonderful people. The attention to detail in their approach to holidays is second to none. The food was freshly homemade every day, and there was plenty of it!
The activities (we did snowmobiles, reindeer herder visit, ice fishing, and husky sledding) were well organised, exciting and interesting. The equipment we used was available 24/7, it was clean I excellent condition we used: kick sled, snow shoes and poles, snowsuits, helmets, head torches. We didn't have time to use the skin's but they were all available throughout our stay.
The accommodation was clean, well presented, comfortable and warm, we used the sauna and the wood burning stove every day.
This is a place in the most beautiful part of the world, and Nuorgam Holiday Village and the family who own/run it make the experience perfect.

We booked this on our recent northern Finland and Norway trip. Everything went very well, and our late check in was accomodated. We were even upgraded to a larger room with a sauna. The apartments were very clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately we don’t have experience of the breakfast. However, the kitchen in the apartment had everything we needed (minus a dishwasher).

Great place to stay! Very welcoming hosts and they’re super helpful too. I stayed in one of the new chalets and they’re done up to a Very high standard, overlooking the river so it’s very quiet. There’s a restaurant on site and a supermarket nearby. Recommend the place as it’s very good value for money, the information packs in the rooms are extensive and detailed and you can book a lot of activities through the owners. The place to stay in Nuorgam for sure and it’s a good base to organise road trips from.

We spent only a night there in a cabin which was modern and nice. Also booked the sauna which was lovely.

Only minuses:

The owner didn't seem to care about the pandemic since he didn't have any mask on and he kept caughing towards us when we checked in.

The pizza-like pies (?) we ordered were not worth 15 euros each, but perhaps it is understandable hence the location.

Great place to stay! Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We stayed 5 nights in a cabin with a bathroom and a sauna so we didn’t use the common facilities but according to other guests, everything was spotless. This is a good place to have as your base camp also if you’re planning to explore the beautiful fjords on the Norwegian side of the border. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll be pleased to see that the resort is located right on the shore of the famous Teno salmon river (please check the required permits and fishing restrictions) and not too far away from the fishing spots in Norway, ask the staff for recommendations!

Covid-19 times forced us (two couples in a rented mobile home) to stay on the Finnish side of the river Teno instead of continuing our journey to Norway & Barents Sea. But I don't complain; we stayed two nights here and enjoyed the scenery, good food, sauna etc. Friendly staff, toilets & showers tidy, everything pretty uncomplicated. Plus it's just a 10 minute walk (or 2-3 minutes with a free bicycle) to the nearest grocery store/liquor store. If I ever happen to go up north again, I'll certainly stay again.

we unfortunately only had one night, but here you can endure it longer, we had house no. 14 with living room, bedroom, kitchen, large bathroom with sauna, comfortably furnished, since the restaurant was still closed, we got a breakfast basket, of which even 4 people would have been fed, great selection and quality, incl. Filter coffee (machine available) the room had border river view,
was part of a campsite, the hosts were very warm and friendly.

Thanks to Marjatta, Raimo, and the wonderful staff at Nuorgam Holiday Village for making our family Christmas vacation enjoyable and unforgettable. Every person that was part of the staff was friendly, attentive, helpful, and accommodating. The Nuorgam Holiday Village has a variety of winter activities that will appeal to almost everyone. Whenever the weather conditions did not allow to do certain activities, the staff would go out of their way to have different options. Some of the winter activities provided also gave us an insight to the Sami culture. If you want to experience a great winter safari with a personal touch, we highly recommend this family-owned business.

We spend four nights in Nuorgam and really enjoyed our stay in Nuorgam Holiday Village. We had luxorius cottage and everything in there was perfect, sauna, king size bed and small kitchen. And the most amazing was the view to Teno river. This is great place to explore the amazing nature of the most northern part of Finland. We enjoyed for example the Skaidijärvi trail and Ailigas trail in Utsjoki. It's three kilometers to border of Norway so it's easy to visit Norway and to see the spectacular views of Norway.

The location is perfect.
The cabin has a great panoramic view and is fully equipped. Nothing is missing.
The team is very competent, fun, organized, friendly and helpful.
The activities corresponded to the schedule and everything went as planned.
The meals were very tasty and varied.

To summarize, it was magical (fantastic).
We couldn't have wished for a better vacation.
We are glad we chose Nuorgam Holiday Village and would do the same vacation again in a few years.
