We had a lovely stay with 3 young kids at the beautiful campsite Tennorinne. Very friendly people, fantastic sauna with direct access to the Teno river and a an original grill tent (Kota) to grill your own food and warm yourself at the fire. Beautiful hikes (short and longer distance) in the area around the campsite. Certainly worth a stay for a day or two on your way to the North Cape. Enjoy!

A beautiful campsite next to the Teno river bordering Finland and Norway. Nothing is too much trouble for the generous and welcoming owners Raimo and Pirkko and their local knowledge is second to none, We stayed for six nights altogether at the end of August, with a week's hike in Muotkatunturi in the middle. Our cabin was really clean and well-equipped and the central campsite facilities are excellent with kitchen, laundry, drying room and sauna. Note the limited opening season as shown on their website. Highly recommended!

There was difficulties to choose from the many camping sites on the area. We chose this one because its location to local market and the border crossing. Cabin was just scratch from 60€ a night, a reasonably price from 3 persons. There is a fridge and a hot plate in the cabin so one can prepare something like salmon dinner if desired. Showers and toilets were in different building but not far away. We were craving for fast food and saw a pizzeria sign on our search for the accommodation, but the place was shut down. No pizza that evening.
