Considering its remoteness, it was a surprise for us to see a well run and really pleasant hotel, there was even guest wifi.. albeit in some areas only. Rooms in cabins are a little basic with small beds but they were comfortable and the heating is simply excellent. Showers and toilet facilities are also excellent. There is no TV so bring your own music and games, if you have time of course, when your not involved in the good selection of activities on offer. These include husky related expeditions, snowmobile expeditions, reindeer rides, horse rides, ice karting and fishing and skiing of course. These are not cheap but considering the cost to maintain animals in excellent healthy condition (and their handlers) you soon appreciate it. Arctic clothing is available and advisable

We stayed here for 5 nights, as part of a 7 night package with the Aurora Zone, and had just the best time! Our northern lights cabin accommodation was perfectly located overlooking the mainly frozen river, so when our aurora alerts went off, we dressed as quickly as possible in 3-4 layers and went out with the cameras. We were lucky enough to see them on 3 out of the 7 nights, with 1 cloudy and 2 snowy nights. The cabin is basically furnished but well equipped. The outer door opens into the bedroom/lounge, with a small kitchenette opposite the shower room. Single beds can be pushed together and spare chairs used as bedside tables. Hanging space by the door is ideal for outer clothing as the wardrobe only had shelves and half were used for extra bedding (for the sofa bed) and

I visited Jeris Hotel Harriniva in February 2019. The transfer from the airport was excellent and about a 40 min drive. We arrived in the evening and received a very warm welcome. We received our equipment immediately and where also able to have some dinner as the staff transferred our luggage to the cabin. We had a 2 person cabin where my son slept on an extra bed added for the occasion. More than enough room in the cabin where you have a full kitchen (incl utensils) and water cooker. We brought some hot chocolate bags from home and would recommend you to do the same. I had also packed a bottle of Port and Rum and did not regret this either. The cabin also has a cupboard in the hallway that you can use to warm/dry all your clothes, this is a great invention Our cabin was close

We travelled as a couple and stayed 4 nights. Wish we had stayed longer as didn't want to leave this magical place and lovely hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff were incredibly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to all the reception staff and guides who took us on the activities. Had a fantastic holiday and hopefully will return to this wonderful place one day.

Very professional organized resort to get involved in all sorts of outdoor-activity’s of the arctic winter. Our special intention was to get introduced into sleds traveling with Huskies. The Resort runs several tracks of outdoor trails with expert mushers. You can spend days with the dogs racing in a small groups, but you have to work you out, get the fireplace started in the hut, chop the meat to feed the dogs and help to prepare the meals. Don’t bother to bring a lot of outdoor equipment, because overalls sleeping bags, gloves, thermo-Shoes and fleece-caps are provided. The dogs are amazingly friends and you will have a problem kissing them good-bye...
