Had a lovely short stay at Paul and Karen's accommodation. Everything we needed was there. Microwave, toaster, kettle. Paul was very welcoming. Central to all we needed ie: Baltinglas, Glendalough, Blessington and many more. Would stay again.

Last weekend I attended a wedding in nearby Rathsallagh but I stayed in Moore's courtyard in Grangecon, and what a great decision that was ! Our rooms were spotless and so comfortable. Our hosts Paul and Karen Moore welcomed us with old fashioned genuine hospitality. Paul drove us to the wedding venue and we got a taxi back. We had a super home cooked breakfast and a walk around Grangecon which is a lovely peaceful village. I highly recommend Moore's, its a gem.

Myself and my partner are just back from a terrific stay at Moore's B&B. We were attending a wedding at Rathsallagh house.

Karen and Paul are terrific hosts who went above and beyond from making the booking right through to our departure. Literally everything you will need can be found here: parking on your doorstep, SUPER clean room (I'm very fussy), power shower and a yummy breakfast at a great hour for our after the wedding heads.

As organised prior to arrival, Paul drove us back to the hotel the next day to collect our car. The hosts were really chilled and down to earth and our stay was made ten times better as they didn't demand we leave at checkout -there was a post wedding dinner the day after in the hotel and as the room wasn't booked that evening they said we could leave whenever we wanted. After a great shower and disco nap we felt energised and revived for the dinner and drive back home.

The loveliest part for us though was the little basket that was left in our room. As well as things that are generally nice to find in B&B's -a great shampoo and conditioner and bottles of water, there was the most thought out collection of things for their guests. They had thought of everything as though they were to stay in the room themselves. Panadol for our sore heads, toothbrushes -himself forgot his of course- and toothpaste. Samples of all kinds of things - we made use of the foot lotion and moisturiser. Plasters for our danced out feet. A few disposable razors. And lots of other things that could be useful for a one night stay like safety pins, lady toiletries, perfumes, cotton pads, cotton buds, hair clips and bobbins, face masks... I can't even remember it all, but waking up with a sore head it felt like a little basket of love.

Some of the Rathsallagh house guests and guests who had stayed at other b&b's were envious of our great stay-many had been evicted at 11am and had to wait in the lobby of Rathsallagh house for hours and Rathsallagh house guests had had to drive into the nearest town to get the things they had forgotten like toothpaste. We were quite smug that having paid a fraction of the price we had the most satisfying stay 😉

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I loved Moore's and recommend it not just for Rathsallagh weddings also unique escape from Dublin for a night. The owner Paul Moore immediately puts one at ease. The old style pub with shop attached retains its character and charm. On the day it was full of atmosphere, lots locals watching Ireland's warm up world cup match Ire V Scotland, some booked to dine later in on-site tapas restaurant . Its only minutes from Rathsallagh Hotel and your are 1st to be dropped back by late night courtesy bus. Paul's wife dropped me up to wedding after check-in and breakfast was severed as late as you like next day. Safe parking back of pub -Highly recommend

4 friends on a girl's night away - this was the perfect place for us, the accommodation is lovely, nestled away in a courtyard at the back of the pub/restaurant.
Everything is so clean and Paul, the owner was really friendly.
We ate in the tapas restaurant - the food was so nice - we ordered 3 tapas each and every single one was lovely, and we were full up after!

We went into the bar afterwards and had a great night - everyone was so friendly

The breakfast was a much needed fry to help us recover from the night before in the bar!

Highly recommended and thanks to Paul and Karen for a great time!

Stayed in Moore's when attending a wedding in the close by Rathsallagh. Very comfortable accommodation and great breakfast. Very friendly staff and gave us a lift back to Rathsallagh after breakfast to collect our car. Highly recommended.

Moores offer a quiet escape from life. Comfortable surroundings but its breakfast that is wonderful. Fresh and local and cooked to perfection. It was lovely to escape, no phones, no internet but lots of company.

We stayed at Grangecon for three night s for a family wedding at Rathsallagh. On our arrival we were made feel more than welcome by our hosts Paul and Karen. It was perfect for us as we were able to eat in the restaurant and relax in the bar afterwards without having to leave our accommodation, which was beautiful. We would highly recommend this charming little place. Thank you Paul and Karen.

We stayed at Moore's of Grangecon for one night while attending a wedding at Rathsallagh. Paul and Karen were lovely.....so welcoming and nice. After we checked in, Paul drove us to the wedding reception so we didn't have to leave a car overnight. The rooms were great, a double bed and a twin bed, perfect for the 3 of us staying! Also the shower had the best water pressure! The next morning we had a delicious Irish breakfast and a quick check out and were on our way! It was such a charming Irish B&B and I'm so glad we were able to stay there! Thanks Paul and Karen!
