I stayed in the 'cabin' see photo 3/4. It was comfortable clean and pleasantly isolated. The view over the fields to the hills was lovely. Very peaceful. It was also very close to the beach. (5 mins on foot.) There are also numerous walks all round the area. The WiFi was perfect as was the reception from my hosts. I enjoyed my 3 days a lot. Thx.
Fantastic getaway. Rained but still got lots of fishing in. Cottages are very clean, cozy and relaxing. Everything you need and to purchase propane from owner is very reasonable. Brian was very helpful in giving us great fishing spots.
This lady June took our money even though we could not stay because there was a powercut. I called regarding this matter she was rude and unprofessional and hung up the phone. She lies and takes your money. Will be taking this the full way.People are obnoxious.
I stayed here for a night with the wife and two little ones aged 3&4. Met by a lovely older gentleman who had no idea which cottage we were staying in, got the wrong cottage initially. It turns out we are not staying in a cottage at all it’s a chalet. Although immaculate clean interior we were disappointed as the so called double bed was tiny and extremely uncomfortable. Having paid £130 for one night in a cottage we felt completely let down. The perimeter fence is topped with barb wire so we could not let the kids play outside either. The attached photos support our disappointment 👎
We stayed here for two nights on our way to the Highlands. The bedroom was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was well cooked and our hosts were very welcoming. We were able to do two good walks from the accommodation to the beach and surrounding countryside, with excellent views to the mountains.
