The Amara Hotel describes itself as an everlasting journey built to offer a living panoramic vision that owns the horizon and that is exactly what you wish your stay to be. You will not want to leave. Upon arrival to the hotel you are greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces to welcome you into the peaceful bliss of the hotel. The check-in process was straightforward and knowledgeable and you receive a great understanding of the hotel as if you have been there for weeks. When walking into your room, you will discover purity, calm and solemn mixed with the perfect view of the Cyprus Coastline. Every little detail has been carefully planned and successfully executed in the hotel including the personalised welcome message on your TV. All the Molten Brown Amenities are rife throughout the room and with up to date acknowledgment of the current pandemic with amenities for washing hands and keeping safe also good to note. The complimentary mini bar is certainly welcome with perfect refreshments needed from the hot Cyprus sun. Robes, slippers and towels and all laid out in the room. The comfort of the bed was second to none and you will feel like you are in your home away from home. When considering an evening meal, take a trip to the Lobby Bar for an early evening drink and nibbles whilst watching the Cyprus sunset which then lead into the number of different options available for evening dining. Your are not short of options across the hotel but a must try is the Matsuhisa restaurant, run by renowned Nobu chef Matsuhisa. We tried the Teriyaki chicken, cucumber Maki and tempura broccoli and it was divine...so nice so, we went back again the second and final night of our stay. The service was exceptional and always attentive to our needs at dinner. Breakfast in the all day dining room offer an incredible spread of hot and cold food options, bakery options, exotic fruit and the chance to have a full English breakfast with a side of pancakes or waffles. If you then still have space, try one of the chefs specially cooked omelettes/scrambled egg with choice of additions. All to be enjoyed on the balcony with more views of the coast. The pool and the pool bar are exquisite parts of the hotel and offer an exceptionally serene setting to enjoy the day with access to lovely food and drinks all day. The infinity pool is a lovely touch to add to the great view out to the coast and every guest has access to their own, comfortable sun lounger. Security wise, you will feel very safe in the hotel with coded gates across all the entrances of the hotel. Upon check out, you will continuously be met with smiles as you, unfortunately, have to leave and The Amara is certainly a hotel you should consider visiting if you have the chance.

We stayed in this hotel aug 30 - sep 6th , it was beyond all expectations, I would highly recommend a stay here. The hotel opened in June 2019 , so still feels brand new. We had a double room ( and yes the rooms are all sea view) the room is really well thought out with plenty of storage, bed is super comfortable with a choice of pillow types, mini bar is stocked with soft drinks daily and molton brown toiletries are always a winner. The attention to detail in the hotel is beautiful , fabrics by Designers Guild , crockery by Vista Allegra and DeGrenne cutlery showed the quality that has gone into the experience. By day 3 the breakfast staff had memorised what type of coffee we each had and whether it was juice or water ( I love that personalised experience) the breakfast buffet covered all tastes and again the highest quality. We used both pool and beach , again staff super attentive, there is a lovely blonde lady ( always has a hat on) by pool bar, super friendly and a pleasure to chat too, helped us out when we needed information on going to the old town. The evening restaurants just fabulous . This review sounds like I've been paid to write it, but we really were just so impressed with everything. My only suggestion would be to put something in the room about the surrounding area or any cultural trips available ( I mean we have the Internet but still )

We stayed at the Amara for a family wedding, the hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, very high standards , the furnishings are stunning and the staff extremely accommodating, Maya and Dasos were very helpful and did everything to ensure the wedding went to plan. The food is delicious and well presented. This is for sure a 5 star hotel and worth its rating. We plan to return very soon. Expect to pay a handsome price for this perfect experience, it’s worth it. The infinity pool is stunning. Go and enjoy being looked after. The Amara do this well.
