The place was like new, very clean and well kept. Comfy bed, good quality bedding. Superb shower, high pressure hot water system, perfect for Hollywood showers. Staff helpful and charming, breakfast very fresh and tasty, good selection for Asian hotel, made bacon specially for me when I asked. For sure going back there again.

Not really all that impressive, bath was cracked bathroom was not very clean when we arrived, on the plus side staff were very friendly, the room itself was clean and everything seemed to work ok. The tiled floor in our room was really stunning

We only used this hotel at the end of our five day tour of northern Vietnam. The air conditioning did not work at all and the room was like an oven. The shower was good but flooded the bathroom. Didnt stay in the room long due to the heat. The food in the restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced....

My personalised tour included a shower at this hotel after we alighted from the excellent overnight Orient Express train from Hanoi. The room was clean but the two double beds were low set. The shower worked well in contrast to some previous reviews. Aircon was a bit weak but not disastrous.

Even if this was only for short time stay users for location, this was horrible. I could not even bring myself to use the shower...the bathtub was new, but did not fit the previous space so looked dirty and moldy. I didn't take a nap because there was only a coverlet and pillows covered in a decorative shams, I looked...

Like the other reviews, we had short use of this hotel while we waited for the night train to Hanoi. The rooms were clean but the bathroom was a plumbing disaster.....the water runs away from the drain hole. We had towels everywhere to stop the flood. I guess for a quick stopover it was ok....just!

The best thing about this property is that it's just across the square from the bus station and the train station. It seems most people just use it as a place to shower and cool off for a few hours before catching the overnight bus or train to Hanoi. Instead, I was coming from Sapa, and I spent the night....

We booked this hotel (due to recommendation) for just the afternoon, so that we could shower and rest before catching the overnight train back to Ha Noi. I am so thankful we didn't have to spend the night! The hotel room and corridor could be described at best as filthy. The room was large, the hotel is in an excellent...

Stayed for one night on business. Location is convenient for the railway station or bus stand both of which are right in front. Chose the largest room they had. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Free internet was fast. However, the room was in need of refurbishment - carpets had many stains. Breakfast is limited and not...

“Question your travel agent very thoroughly about accommodations in Lao Cai. I have to go home to see what we paid for these few hours, but for the short time we needed to be here, I would have preferred to spend a little longer sightseeing instead.”
