We book the couple's package which was lovely but our room was freezing!!!! There was no heat in the room & we contacted reception who gave us a small heater. The heater was too noisy to keep on so had to be switched off which meant we had no heat all night. On departure we mentioned to a member of staff who said she would mention to management. I e mailed a few days later & management said they have never heard of it even though we had said to 2 staff members. I am still awaiting a reply from them! The room wasn't cheap and the least they could do was acknowledge our complaint!

We stayed 2 nights in September celebrating our silver wedding anniversary after our original USA trip was cancelled. So glad it was as we had a great road trip staying here for 2 nights including our anniversary night. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way from the minute we stepped in until we left to make this a special day. The food, service, hotel inside and location are all excellent and I cannot fault a thing. I would definitely stay here again.

Second trip to the Whistledown restaurant during our staycation,( mainly because of the high level of hygiene, and Covid precautions in place.) The staff are really well trained and courteous which is very reassuring for guests/ visitors. The food is well priced, good portions and delicious. Thank you to Viktor and the girl with long curly ponytail (sorry didn't get your name) for excellent service, in fact every member of staff deserve a mention working under these difficult circumstances. Well done to the Whistledown, a really enjoyable couple of hours.

When we visit family in Warrenpoint we often enjoy a night out in Whistledown hotel. Our first post lockdown experience was excellent. Staff were all wearing masks. Menus were available to download or disposable / wipeable menus provided. As always there was a great choice of food and drink at reasonable cost. Please ensure you book in advance as this is always a popular venue.
