Pleasant looking hotel with sea views. Busy bar. Rooms were pleasant but nothing special, cracked tiles in the bathroom. Tried the restaurant several times but everything seemed to be stodgy or deep fried. Not good for food.

Attended a wedding event here at the weekend and it was beautiful. The wedding meal was one of the best I have ever tasted. The room was larger and more modern than expected. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Only disappointment was breakfast time...More

Room 109 is a great room in the whistledown. Overlooking the lough, triple aspect. Not sure how far in advance you need to book though. It's usually much busier in summer months.
