This hotel is in a great location for all the bars and restaurants, and the sea and beach , but it is basic, had to pay to have a kettle in our room, i have never stayed in a 4 star and had to do this. noisy at night. it also had lots of ucam students staying, so at breakfast could be a nightmare , the pool at times was overloaded with them, the pool was very cold, there was no Air conditioning in our room, planes flying overhead during the day quite noisy all staff helpful and friendly The balcony was small a table could not fit we booked breakfast which was O.K.
I would have given 4 or 5 stars for this hotel if it was not for the exceedingly firm mattress on the bed and the price. I made a mistake when booking and booked for single occupancy. Completely my fault but to then charge us more than double the original price was excessive. We were still only going to be using one room. Probably the firmest mattress I have ever slept on as well. On the plus side very clean and good Covid supervision. Also just a short walk to the bars and restaurants in the Center.
This hotel is in a great location for all the bars and restaurants, it is basic but has all that you need and was super clean great value for money , we had breakfast every Mornin and at 3 euro was just great , Jesus is always on hand to get anything you need , I’m sure the man never sleeps !!! Jesus you are a legend !
The biggest plus about this hotel is the friendly and helpful Jesus who is the manager. He is always on the go and his English is very good. His wife works there as well and its easy to communicate with her - via her husband. My room was large enough and very clean. I prefer not to have housekeeping staff in my room but it's easy to get a change of towels, linen and toiletries. The negatives, some of which are outside the control of the hotel - 1. The internet is not fast and I could not connect to my Macbook although connected to phone and iPad 2. Breakfast - you choose from the hotel menu - the same one that the public use. My rate was for breakfast included - if you have the English breakfast then you pay extra for drinks, even coffee or fruit juice. 3. Location - you will need a car. There is no local public transport service. 4. Don't go out on the balcony and slide the door to keep the heat out and the cool air con in - the door will lock behind you and you can't get back in unless someone comes into your room to let you back in!! 5. The area is very urban with a high level of "stench". This may be as a result of the storms. 6. You will get woken every morning by the planes from San Javier military airport doing their training runs along the coast, these go on at least until midday. 7. The views from the balcony are of other buildings so don't expect to sit on the balcony sunbathing with a decent view,…
The Besties were on their annual trip to the area but unfortunately we couldn't get booked into the hotel. But having stayed there last year, it was our first port of call for breakfast. Jesus was on hand with his cheery welcoming smile and all was as fabulous as it was the previous year. Spotlessly clean throughout and all food cooked to perfection by his wife. We had full English every day with bucks fizz... (just has to be done when the girls are away).. We also had a evening meal off the menu del dia and all was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection.
Very good value for your money, very friendly, kind and utmost helpful staff at the reception, in the restaurant (I want to highlight the engine of the whole hotel: Jesus! He is SUPERB!), and the cleaners, masseuse, everyone. Very clean rooms, delicious food in the restaurant, and their additional services (massage, manicure, pedicure, beautician etc.) are very-very, very good We had a very pleasant stay with my family and will certainly return.
Ate here with my mum. Don’t normally rave about a salad but BEST mozzarella I’ve ever eaten. Mum had lamb shank that fell off the bone and I had oxtails that did the same. Flavours were fantastic. Reasonably priced and friendly service. Would highly recommend this family run hotel off the main strip that everyone goes to.
Never stayed in hotel as we have a place in area. Call regular for breakfast sat outside. 3 euros for English breakfast brilliant value, coffees smoothies and orange juice very good. Next visit will call for evening meal, staff so friendly and polite, especially Jesus the waiter in a Morning.Very clean Love supporting the local Spanish people. Thanks
Not to be confused with the larger, more impersonal Costa Narejos further down the road. We have been going to the restaurant for the past 12 years. It is a typically spanish family business, clean, service and food good. We really like the complimentary fresh bread, garlic cream and tomatoes before the meal. If you want to be away from the noise of Rio Nalon plaza this is a nicer, quieter alternative.
The hotel staff were polite friendly and mega helpful. We had a room facing the main road (. Avda de la Constitucion ) which unfortunately was a little noisy in the late evening and early morning. The food was well cooked and enjoyable. The room we occupied was very clean and cleaned daily. The hotel was within a couple of minutes walk from a very good beach area. This area is well suited to people who love to walk as the promenade was flat paved.
