This is an amazing little hotel, rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. We managed to ger a sea view room and were not disappointed, well worth the small additional charge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a great little bar which was very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area.
Great value for money. Everything new and clean, good location only a few minutes from bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, and it was a great nights sleep! We would definitely return when we are in the area.
We booked for a couple of nights and were so impressed, stayed on for our entire 8 night stay in Spain. We had a hire car and there is some parking immediately outside the building. When we couldn't find a space, there was always one close-by. The hotel is situated in the old town and is just a minutes walk from the promenade and beach front. From our room on the second floor we could see the sea between the buildings on the front line. I believe some rooms on the third floor have the better sea view. The room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. They were also cleaned daily during our stay. We had (continental) breakfast on two mornings and were able to choose from a good selection of items. There is a lovely bar next door to the hotel and others near by as well. You could get anything from a drink, in the beachside bars, to breakfast, tapas and three course meals.…
The hotel is spotless clean .we had a street view room on the 1st floor . Nice little balcony overlooking the old army barracks. We were woken each morning at 8 o clock by the reveille. It was quite a novelty to be honest . Breakfast was continental but enjoyable . There was a mini fridge that could be filled with your own drinks or a mini bar could be stocked if wanted . The staff were polite and helpful . All in all it was a nice quiet break
We have just returned from a lovely 3 night stay at Hotel Cristina. The hotel is spotless, and the staff are very friendly. Our room was spacious, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable. With electric shutters on the windows to black out the room, we had a very good nights sleep. The view from our window was of the abandoned military base, but that was no issue at all. We woke up to blue sky, sunshine and the Mar Menor in the distance. The hotel is quite a walk to the hub of bars and restaurants near Hotel 52, however we wandered along the promenade for just a few mins and discovered Happy Hour drinks in the lovely old restaurant L’Encarnacion. The staff were very attentive and it’s a lovely place to sit outside and admire the view of the Mar Menor. We then headed off for dinner at Pizzeria La Rucola (we picked up their leaflet from the hotel reception). It’s a great place to eat and not far to walk back to the hotel. They offer 10% off the bill if you show your Cristina room key. …
This little hotel is spotlessly clean rooms are large with a small balcony comfy beds desk kettle mini bar and good shower. Although near to the Mar Menor sea it is on the very edge of town next to a run down army camp. There is only 1 rather dingy bar nearby. You will need a car but beware even in February parking was tricky around the hotel. In summer it will be almost impossible to park nearby. The sea was badly effected by the storms and floods late last summer and it is unlikely that swimming in it will be advised for some time to come. One downside with the hotel is the paper thin walls meaning that you hear everything from the next room especially televisions on till 4 in the morning.
Lovely Hotel that is spotlessly clean and has very spacious rooms. Breakfast was very fresh and had a great selection. Close to the sea front but would recommend that you do need a car to reach amenities such as shops, bars and restaurants. We would definitely visit again.
We could not have chosen a better hotel for a quiet relaxing visit. My wife and I stayed here for two weeks and, from the moment we checked in, we knew we had made the right choice. Staff were welcoming, friendly and made us feel at home. Our room on the first floor as requested was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was a compehensive variety of hot and cold items, enough to satisfy any appetite. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy a restful stay. Thank you so much Cristina and family
Stayed one night. The room was spacious, extremely clean and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a huge amount of choice, freshly squeezed orange juice and served in a light airy breakfast room. Would highly recommend! :)
