The cozy and newly renovated Park Hotel Tornio on Tornio-river welcomes You to enjoy the borderline of Finland and Sweden!
We have single- and double rooms, suites and familyrooms. We also have one room for handicapped persons.
Total room amount is 98 and all the rooms are non-smoking.
We have 4 restaurants, meeting rooms of different sizes
(for example auditorium for 200 pers.), cozy sauna department with indoor swimming pool and playroom for the children.
There is free WiFi available in a hotel.
Parking behind and opposite the hotel, the parking fee is 5€/night.

Pleasant stay at the Park Hotel in the city of Tornio. Ample parkingspace always a plus. A nice and well equipped suite - with a balcony. Always a plus in the summer. Two restaurants in the hotel building. We only got to dine in one of them. A bit early to close the dining places at 22.00 in the tourist period, but we nonetheless managed to get a nice meal both evenings at the Aino restaurant. The hotel also has a relax section om the basement floor - with saunas (of course) and a swimming pool. Looked nice, although we didn’t get to test the facilities. Cudos to the employees also. Communication in English or Swedish/Norwegians. The biggest, and almost only let down, was the breakfast. The first morning I was pleased, with a sort of English breakfast with toast, tomato beans, bacon and scrambled eggs. No fried eggs, though… The next morning however, the tomato beans and the toast was missing. I asked for the toast bread, but the reply was that the bread was frozen. And the third morning also the bacon was gone. Not much else to eat instead either. But the croissants were good and so was the coffee. All in all a nice stay in Tornio, and a hotell we can recommend. But the breakfast is important, especially when you stay for three nights. Therefore, not a top score this time!…

Stayed here with a tour group over the Christmas period. Nice hotel, updated bathroom with heated floor etc.VERY friendly and helpful staff at the front desk - even to the point of teaching me a few Finnish words each day, to try out on our tour guide. Buffet breakfasts are good value with lots of choices. Sauna and pool all clean, modern and tidy. Easy walk to the shops - and even across the border into Sweden! The area around the hotel seemed okay, but with all the snow about, I can't say anything about the lake/river and park lands. There is a K-Supermarket within a two minute walk from the hotel. As for my room, I had a single supplement room with a large bed. Nice, modern decor with plenty of space, fairly fast wi-fi and a good sized TV. I did not hear any noise from other rooms at all. Shower was hot enough (pre-selected temp control). One elevator - only an issue when a group of folks were checking in at the same time with luggage etc. For the smokers - outside at the front doors. If I were to visit this area again, I would certainly book this hotel.…

Very centrally located 20 min walk to city centre. Located across from taxi rank and lake .Large shampoo,split system for heating with heated bathroom floor,tea making facilities,no refrigerator,hair dryer very nice and varied buffet breakfast .Dinners where very nice as well .Friendly staff. A pleasure to have stayed there .My one complaint and this I experience for all hotels that I stayed is the hot water or lack of in the shower water temp set and some of the showers who designs these ?

Room was really small. Bed was uncomfortable and small. Tv well I think home I have bigger computer monitor than this tv. Then to good things. Breakfast was ok. Services was friendly and good. Parking is very cheap in hotel parking area.

This is a nice hotel in a small city. Good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms. Location is also fine, you can walk to the city center in 10 minutes. Also the restaurant has a couple of fine selections which we had our dinners.

Arriving at 2am I had to get my key from the drop box. A word of advice, the fob to use the key which arrives effortlessly is not well signed when looking in the half light. Room was all very functional, as usual for Finland everything worked as it should which is always nice. Breakfast was a very welcoming affair, with a nice friendly atmosphere. good choice too, all the fruit was very fresh. Well worth using for a good price.

We spent here 3 nights. Good location: 10 min. by walk to Sweden, IKEA etc. Facilities: TV, fan. The fridge is absent. Excellent breakfast. Two fish species: smoked salmon and herring in mustard sauce; porridge, scrambled eggs, meat balls, sausages. Dispenser of juice is controlled by I-Pad. Innovation.... Swimming pool and sauna works just two hours a day: 19.00-21.00. The water in the pool is rather cold even for us living in the North. But the main problem for me personally became the slippery floor in the sauna. I’ve fallen there and hit very hard. I seem to go to the surgeon tomorrow.

This hotel is everything it should be. Rooms are clean and comfortable, there is plenty of parking, and a selection of restaurants/bars on site. We had a suite with a private sauna, which was a great addition.

Business trip to Tornio, late arrival and extremely comfortable hotel experience at Park Hotel Tornio. The city has two hotels, and they both seem to be extremely nice. The staff was kind, rooms are recently renewed, breakfast was good, nothing but good things to say about this remote location.

Spacios familyroom with sauna was perfect. Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Our kids loved this hotels room and pool. Service in the hotel was very warm and friendly. Only thing to improve this hotel could be new bathrooms!
