#1 of 4 in Tornio
Hotel Mustaparta is inspired by the historical figure Iisakki Mustaparta's story. The interior design follows the story and has a touch of sea elements and wood. The hotel is located in the centre of Tornio, close to restaurants, bars and the Swedish border.

Hotel Mustaparta is very nice and cozy little hotel with excellent service and food. My room was very clean and it was also very spacious. There us a lot of parking space for your car behind the building. The hotel is situated right in the middle of the town. Excellent experience, indeed.

Very welcoming receptionist, exceptionally clean hotel, spacious room. Breakfast was the most boutique thing about the hotel. However, the hotel does not have small but delightful luxuries to be called a boutique hotel. Apart from that no bathroom slippers.

The interesting thing for us was that my boyfriend went to school in this town, and in the building next to the Hotel. I assume it was an experience for him to be back. For instance, he told me where they used to hang together outside to smoke, away from the eyes of the teacher. The Hotel is nice. It was fun to take the elevator up to our floor because you had to push the button and stay holding it in all the time as you were going up. The room was spacious and as this is a boutique Hotel there is a theme. Mustaparta traveled away from his home town and returned to unite with his sweet heart many years later. We would Love to come back to this Hotel. We only missed some of our favorite channels on the TV. But, for an example, the porrige at breakfast was very good.

It is usually good idea to choose something else than hotel chain offerings. Oc course You know what to expect when staying in them but they seldom surprise you positively. Hotel Mustaparta certainly did! I arrived after a long drive and the reception was very welcoming. I got the standard room which was really warm since there was something wrong with the aircon. After informing the staff I was moved to animal room whic ws okay for me, room was very clean and nicely decorated. Sleep quality was excellent, as was the breakfast. The game soup was a pleasant surpirse. Will visit also another time.

A really fantastic hotel. Nice rooms with modern design and decor. I arrived really late (2am) and a helpful guard came and gave me a room key. Great that the hotel is accommodating for this. Breakfast was a very good choice. My only negative is that near to the mirrors in my room there were no sockets. So I couldn’t use the mirror for drying my hair. I used the switched off tv instead!

A warm atmosphere due to the welcome from the staff and the interior of the hotel. Cosy rooms, modern bathroom, clean and well equipped. The restaurant downstairs was also a nice surprise with some tempting and unusual dishes, very tasty.

Ate here twice and was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Tried their fish dish with local veggies and potatoes. Also, had reindeer casserole with potatoes, cheese, lingonberry and pickles. This dish was delish! Service was friendly and the decor is beautiful. My aunt and cousin stayed overnight. Their room was big and tastefully decorated. Air conditioning was great! I will definitely be back next year:)

A very nice hotel with a special and warm character. Friendly staff and the food was also very tasty. Room was nicely decorated in the style of the story of Mustaparta. So overall good enough for a couple of days stay.
