This hotel is the best you could wish: beautiful quiet location, warm wooden lovely rooms with windows & balconies to the mountains view, good home cooking, personal service. The owner Andrea is generous & friendly, and knows a lot about anything in the surrounding. Hikes, maps, Refugio, hotels. He'll not only recommend but also call for you and organize your... More

We had a rather large group of 12 people who were walking the Alta Via. Lodging in the area can be expensive and the Hotel Ondezana was one of the more moderate ones. The hotel has a beautiful porch in a great setting. The food-- both dinner and breakfast was good. But what really made the hotel stand out was... More

The hotel Ondezana fits perfectly in the alpine village of Lillaz. The open air layout, wood lined rooms, and large arrays of flowers all add to the ambiance. The rooms are clean and welcoming, with en-suite showers and toilet. The staff is helpful and friendly. An outdoor garden is perfect for enjoying the weather and mountain views. The hotel has... Clean and comfort rooms with a fantastic view on the mountains. Very friendly and helpful staff. Situated in a quiet and charming village. The owner speaks very good english. Parking is good, but the road to the hotel is a bit narrow

We spent a week in Lillaz for ice climbing and this hotel made a big difference since it is located right on the trail to the waterfalls. Our stay was very easy, the price reasonable and owners made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and the service very good. Breakfast and dinner were part of the package... More

We used the hotel as start and finish of our hiking tour around the Gran Paradiso. Stars had not our first interest. Backpackers in the mountains are already satisfied with a decent place. Hotel Ondezana turned out to be a surprise. Beautiful situated in the meadows of Lillaz, nice rooms, an excellent kitchen and a sunny garden. But most of... More

We stayed for two nights whilst attending a wedding in nearby Cogne in July 2012. Our stay was flawless from start to finish. Andrea gave us a nice room with a great view, it was nicely appointed, spotlessly clean and warm and welcoming. We had a chance to enjoy the food at the hotel one evening which was a real... More
