This is an outstanding B&B facility in "to die for" location on top of Blaenavon. You will need a good cloth to get there and 1 mile of approach is on dirt track but - The location is outstanding - The rooms are wonderful and BIG The breakfast is Exceptional big and expertly presented.. Suits a One / Two night...

We had a stay here on the night of our wedding. We assumed it would be a typical bed and breakfast so arrived very late. However we instantly regretted not coming back sooner and not booking for longer! What a beautiful place!! Up through lanes onto the top of the mountain areas. Stayed in the largest room which had two...

I cannot praise this B&B enough. The room was delightful, the bathroom stunning and the views - breathtaking. We stayed in the largest room which had a six foot bed and a double bed (good if you have a row), log burner (good on a chilly evening) and two sofas. The large bathroom comes with its own stunning views over...

We only stayed one night more is the pity, we enjoyed its peacefulness it was like stepping back away from the Hurley Burly of modern life, who would want to stay in a Motel when you have such a pretty place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer and would love to visit again, Superb hostess very Quirky and...

What a wonderful location this is. Not too bad to find although as others have commented, its a long way along the track but worth while for the views. To overlook Pontypool and the surrounding countryside is a real 'wow' experience' and worth it for the views alone. We were greeted by Agent and shown our room, which at just...

My wife, Marley (our lab) and I had a superb one night stay. Ty Shon Jacob Farm is located on top of the hill (approx 1200' above the sea level), surrounded by a country farm with horses and a great car park. The drive to the farm up the narrow lanes was gorgeous and very secluded - if you think...

We were looking to stay near Crumlin at a premier Inn but while searching we found Ty Shon and the reviews were great so decided to try this place. It was superb, Agnatha was such a lovely host and nothing was to much trouble for her, the rooms were spacious and welcoming and breakfast lovely and plentiful. The views outside...

My little car struggled up the mountain, we went the wrong way and ended up on someones farm, so had to reverse and then make our way back up the steep incline. If you think it doesn't seem right, continue anyway and you'll see the sign at the top. Agnes was the most lovely, welcoming host. The house is traditional...
