We had booked this place for 3 nights, however we only stayed 1 night, and that was too much. I was told the room we booked, a double, face St Micheals Mount, it didn't, when I questioned I was told" you wanted a double, that room was a twin ",. The standard of the room was VERY poor, torn net...

Clean quiet and comfortable. for my wife and I it ticked all the right boxes on our weekend without the kids. Being used to staying on business trips in hotels that do not live upto their billing, this place was a breath of fresh air. The rooms were spotless and functional. meals good home cooking. No hesitation in recommending to...

Charming hotel, lovely owners, gorgeous part of the world. Highly recommended. I've subsequently read owners have been pilloried for their moral standards. If anything, this should serve as a recommendation.

The welcome was hardly warm and that set the tone for the time we were there. Decoration is tired and well out of date in the public rooms as well as in the bedroom and ensuite. Grout needed renewing in the shower and as for pictures of the Andrex puppy - that was weird! And I have never before seen...

We just stayed for one night on our way to the Scilly Isles and found this to be a most chraming and welcoming hotel with wonderful views over St Michaels Mount. Not only did the hotel arrange our taxi to the heliport but allowed us to park at the hotel whilst we were on the Scillies. Highly recommended

Our family first went to Chymorvah when our son was 5. We fell in love with the people who run it, their animals, the view, and the entire town. We enjoyed it so much we took more family and went back two years later. Hazelmary, Pete and Bernie could not have done more to make us feel like family. The...

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 week stay at the Chymorvah Hotel in beautiful Marazion during May 2009. We were met with a very friendly welcome from the proprietors. We were also delighted with the room, while the picturesque views across to St. Michaels Mount were stunning. Everyday our room was cleaned to an amazing high standard. The more...

I have stayed at the Chymorvah Hotel at least eight times, which in itself tells you how much I enjoy this place's atmosphere and attentive staff. I cannot believe some of the vindictive reviews on this site, because -- according to my experience - not one of their accusations of dirty rooms, lackadaisical service and bad food is true. The...

“Single travellers, if you are on the large side, book a double room rather than the single room. The single is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, though a little on the small side. For less than £10 a night more, you can get a spacious double.”
