We stayed in 'eagle's nest' at Eco Palapa in the national park. We paid in advance through Pay Pal so no surprises. Fabulous 360 views from the second floor. Stars at night and sea view sunrise in the morning! Clean private toilet and shower, adequate water pressure. 2 burner camp stove, a propane fridge, and cooking utensils with table and...

I stayed 3 nights in the Papagallo lodge which slept 8 but there were only 2 of us (my friend and I). It was a more rustic than I am accustom to but the options in that part of Baja are few. I was there to visit a friend who lives in La Ribera (40 miles north). I can point...

The camp is in a beautiful location, but we ended up paying about 20 percent more than we expected with tax and a cleaning fee that we weren't aware of at the booking. We also should have be warned that we needed to bring our own coffee, as it is not available nearby. Nothing is. We had to drive for...

This place is absolutely perfect, if you like a rustic setting and experience. It was very clean, it is right on a gorgeous beach and it is quiet. The owner, Bill is friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night in a nice pop up with a view of the ocean...wished I could have stayed longer. It's about a 10 min...

What a perfect place to really get away and relax! The Palapas are an great mix of "cabanas" (actually pop-up campers) and some more solid rooms and options. We were in the Crow's Nest (above the office and communal kitchen). It could sleep 4 - 2 twins and a queen in another room. We had our own bath and kitchen...

Great place. Beautiful and off the beaten path. Cabo Pulmo is 3 miles away for diving, snorkeling and restaurants. Highly recommend everyone staying here. If you stay multiple days you need to bring food for your visit

I stayed several days in the trailer on the beach. That is exactly what I was dreaming about. Sea breeze, sound of waves, beach to myself, red skyline just before beautiful sunrise. Sunsets over picturesque mountains. This place is for nature lovers. Reminded me of my boy scout camps many years ago back in Poland. Shared kitchen gives you a...

I stayed here with two friends in one of the pop up trailers. The trailer was perfect with the sea breeze blowing through and a view of the sunrise and beach. This place is literally right on the beach so we went swimming and few times a day and we rarely saw anyone outside of the people staying here. The...

I've traveled a LOT, and among all my beach vacations, this place is really, really special. The setting is stunning: gorgeous mountains on one side, dunes and beach on the other. It's very secluded (a 10-minute drive from the town, far enough that you have the beach to yourself, and no light pollution whatsoever). We stayed in one of the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Your beach is Las Barracas, a quiet beach wholly within the Cabo Pulmo National Park with few footsteps and no public vehicle traffic. The climate is close to perfect(340 days of sun) and makes for most comfortable indoor/outdoor living. You live on the sand dunes with the ocean breeze. Neighbors are few and none are within 1/2 mile. The village of Cabo Pulmo is three miles further south with resturants, dive shops and pangas for fishing, snorkeling and touring. Here is one of the few places you can fish from the beach in the Park. You can enjoy Pappagallo, a classic Palapa Grande ( 4 bd, 2 ba), or Eagle's Nest Casita ( 2 to 4 guests ) or Sunset Casita (2 to 3 guests. This is ideal for family reunions and groups of all kinds as we have overflow Cabanas with baths for these occassions so can accommodate to 20 guests. ... more   less
