Great stay. Large rooms great balcony and views from Upper floor. Good location. A special thank you to Joao rocha and Mara for giving us an alternative room. Joao was a lovely man smiley and helpful throughout our 2 week stay, a credit to this accommodation.
Jus back from a 4 night stay and cannot wait to go back. Check in was quick and easy and room very spacious with a nice view out to the water. Resort itself was quiet as was out of season and some work going on however we did not hear any noise. Food was delish- did not expect it to be a sit down meal assumed it would be a buffet as we were full board. The staff in the restaurant were super nice and nothing is any trouble for them Beatriz and Joao especially (hope I have your names right!) Hotel is a short stroll into the village which has some lovely shops and ice cream parlours. Would recommend if you want away from the hussle and bustle of Albuferia.
It was everything we expected - an efficient, well located, one bedroom apartment, courteous staff and a beautiful property. The pools were very inviting, but the cool weather precluded us from enjoying these facilities. Nonetheless, we had a great 10 day vacation enjoying; sightseeing, a winery tour, many delicious meals in the little town, and all the while knowing that we had our comfortable apartment to return home to at night. Thank you to Fatima, and all the staff who helped make our time in Ferragudo a fond memory.
I want to go again so badly a beautiful Portuguese resort I love it it had a beach that was beautiful and a pool with a bar area with music playing it gave me good vibes and I highly recommend going to such a lovely little resort thanks for the stay!
An excellent resort at an excellent price in an excellent location serviced by excellent staff! My husband and I stayed at Vitor's Village for 2 weeks and were very impressed in general. It wasn't "perfect", but for the money we couldn't complain. We definitely recommend it.
Lovely holiday. Resort spotlessly clean. 1 bedroom apartment modern, clean and bright. No complaints. Would return. Short walk to village centre where there are loads of lovely wee restaurants and cafes. Local buses run on time to neighbouring towns and villages.
On Arrival the man at the desk was excellent with a few tips on our stay, we had arrived early so our rooms were not ready so pointed us to a local market to pass away our time. When our room was ready we were quite happy with it, it was very spacious and looked clean with the amenities needed for a self catering holiday. Aldo, or Lidl (not sure which one) is a 15 min walk away so we asked the receptionist if we were able to get a taxi back, he had told us to ask the security guard there but when we got there he was no where to be seen so we ordered an Uber. On the 5th day, we did have an invasion of ants in the room, we contacted reception and immediately the house maids attacked the problem which stopped the ants returning. We were there for 3 days and had to ask for our room to have new towels and the bins emptied as no one had come, we got the impression that they should come in daily but as soon as we asked, they were their daily. This Hotel is a nice base and done everything we expected it too but unfortunately we would not return as the area was way too quiet for us.…
The landscaping and location are unbeatable. The pools appeared nice and the lobby was well appointed. Parking and access to the property were easy. Bed comfort and bedding is atrocious. Cleanliness was definitely lacking in our tiny room. Hair from other guests and their pets on the floors was gross. But hey, if you enjoy sleeping on a concrete bed with the thinnest pillow in Portugal, this is the spot. Other reviews have complained about bed comfort and they weren’t lying. A very small TV placed where the desk would be serves as your entertainment option. It felt like 1994 in there. The on-site restaurant (Purple) offered an uncomfortable temperature, poor food standards and overwhelmed staff. Speaking of staff, I interacted with two at the front desk. One was gregarious and nice. The other behaved like a guard at a women’s prison who was doing us a favor. Overall, this COULD be a nicer place, but they just aren’t getting it done anytime soon.…
In arrival was told could not check in to the room until 4pm even though our paperwork says 2pm, receptionist was a lady called Fatima throughout the stay was not the most pleasant person to deal with. Fatima didn’t even greet us with a smile or a hello on arrival, she never told us about the hotel shuttle bus that goes to the beach hand we only found out by another guest when I asked her why she didn’t tell me about the shuttle bus her response was I thought you knew. We stayed for 3 days and the room was never cleaned and the beds were never made when I enquired about this I was told by a gentleman that rooms are only cleaned on Wednesday and Saturdays (this is the first hotel I have ever heard of this). The staff are not very welcoming and all see to just look miserable. Bath had brown marks in it and was a rough texture when I went to Fatima (receptionist) she told me this is to stop you from slipping, I explained it’s brown looks like dirt and is very off putting when using shower. Receptionist Fatima was very dismissive if you went to her with issues and overall I would not stay at this hotel ever again.…
well located a short walk from the town with plenty free parking. apartments are comfortable and clean. i would book river view as it has the sun on the balcony all afternoon as well as nice view. pools are fine and snack bar serves excellent food- we did not use the restaurant as we preferred to walk to the town and harbour.
