Beautiful resort, really nice apartments. Perfect for families, also 3 swimming pools. Cleaning done daily unless not requested. Beautiful grounds. Very good location in ferragudo- easy to get to city centre & also close enough to other towns in the algarve- 30mins from albufiera by car. Breakfast got a bit boring after some time as same things- fried egg, boiled egg, baked beans, crepes, bread, yoghurt & some fruits.

Clean, friendly staff, good restaurants. Small shop on site, you can do laundry, there is a restaurant and snackbar. Good place to stay, beds are good, good shower. The one complaint my wife had, not nearly enough closet space in the bathroom, she had to keep het stuff (a lot, believe me) somewhere else and get it every time she needed it. She was right, btw. Still, can recommend this place, great pools, grounds are wel kept and clean, rooms are clean, modern and spacious. We will be back for sure. And keep hoping there will be more closet space in the bathroom. Really. But go there anyway, you won’t be sorry.

This is our 3rd time of staying at Vitor’s village. We absolutely love ferragudo as a holiday destination and Vitor’s village is in an ideal location. The beach Praia grand is a 10 minute walk away and the village is a 5 minute walk. In the past we always got the taxi ferry into portimao however due to Covid they now stop at 7pm. Instead we used Uber and it was a fraction of the price, €3 per trip. Vitor’s apartments are clean and spacious, I love that it’s always so quiet so you get a good nights sleep. The pool is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful. They have put great measures in place for Covid and the resort felt very safe. If you enjoy fish then Marisqueira Mare Viva is a lovely restaurant in ferragudo centre. This time we also found a superb restaurant a 20 flat minute walk Away called Restaurante Snack-Bar O Leme. We paid €35 per kilo for fresh fish cooked on the grill where in ferragudo most restaurants were €60-70 per kilo. Highly recommend talking a walk to this place. We cannot wait to return back to Vitor’s village... hopefully we will be back soon.

This was our fifth visit to Vitor's. Two school summer holidays and three short winter breaks. It is a great base with comfy beds, good facilities and in my experience, really good bathrooms with good quality shower equipment and endless hot water, which is always an extra point from me! The apartments have pleasant balconies, none of which I've found to be overlooking anything awful (like an ugly wall or the bins as with some) but paying the extra for a river view is well worth it as you also get the sunsets over Portimao (in August one year, we had an amazing view of the fireworks at the sardine fesival there). Its an easy 10 minute walk to the square or you can take a short cut to the other end down a steep hill from nearby to reception. There are a number of small convenience stores in the village or you can walk to Lidl in about twenty minutes going to Parchal. The staff are welcoming and helpful, checkin and checkout is easy, there is an excellent pool area, bar and restaurant on site (you can choose b & b or half board options if that's your thing, but there are many excellent bars and restaurants in the village). You can walk to the beach easily by walking to the very end of the harbour and following the path around the back of the coastguard building. You can walk right around the castle wall if the tide is out but if not, walk to the left and when you see the small parking area, follow the hill up towards the steps down to Praia Grande. There are several cafe bars there so you can always take a walk to see what it's like before you commit to spending the day. Overall, we would return.
