Okay, so the bar/restaurant had a bad day. (Nearby new restaurant was closed due to some sort of incidence and the golf course was maxed out, so the waitress was handling the entire place by herself--hurrying to keep up she dropped and broke glasses and wrapped kleenex around a slashed finger!) Management should have stepped in and called for back-up...

Great view of the lake off of the front patio. Barmaid was entertaining and friendly. I had a pulled pork sandwhich and fries, my friends both had the "ring of fire" burgers and seemed to be pretty happy with them. We Will be back next summers tour if we're out this way again! Beautiful area

We spent a glorious week at Queens Bay and to thank our hosts we bought them lunch at the local pub. It was a beautiful setting on the balcony overlooking the beach. Our meals were very nice and served promptly together with a wide choice of beers. If we are lucky enough to get back to Queens Bay we will...

This place is very disorganized right from booking online - you receive a confirmation number with committment that you will be called to confirm, but no one calls you. The price for a night's stay should be no more than $70/night max, versus $160/night regardless that you are on the lake. During our stay the bathroom had a shower curtain...

This place might be one you would want to shy away from. Our family could never find anyone who worked the motel part of the business and I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere else where disorganization was the theme. We encountered windows with no screens (flies and mosquito's loved that!), face cloths that looked like they had been used...

This place is unbelievable. First, you go online to make your reservation and it comes back and tells you that you have a confirmation number. then it says that someone will call to confirm the reservation. NO ONE CALLS YOU! So I call them a day before we leave for there and they have no idea that I'm coming but...

Pros: great location with a wonderful view. food is ok. serving staff are pleasant and friendly, if a little slow. Cons: smelly, dirty room. accommodation staff is slow, not accommodating, and impolite. bed was uncomfortable. can hear the people in the next room brushing their teeth because the walls are so thin. no coffee in the mornings unless you go...

This has been bothering me now for over a month. I have never and I mean NEVER had such a combination of bad service, food and accommodation in one place ever! The sad lazy girl in the sparkle boots that was "in charge" of the place seemed to be inconvenienced by my presents because she had to get off the...
