We rented cottage with the group of friends and experienced most poor and arrogant service we had in many years. We are a month in process of complaint management, and after all the troubles we had, the best advice and feedback we can give avoid this place if you can. Staff speaks barely any other language than Russian.
Besides the fact that cottage itself is nice and well located. Evident that place lacks proper maintenance for some time now and most sad that customer service management is poor and staff is ignorant. If smth goes wrong in the cottage, owners will give you really hard time. Cottage is serviced by some lady, who helps, but seems the owner lives 400km away from cottage, so if smth goes wrong, good luck!
Some concrete examples what we experienced:
1. Sauna was broken in the cottage, heating max to 40C
2. Shared sauna is of limited use. To trick you more, once you pay booking, they "politely" inform that you are not allowed to use that sauna when you want, but during specific days.
3. Shared sauna lacks proper safety elements, worst example, if one wants to put wood into furnace, opening clutch was broken and non-existent, we had to use wooden stick that we made ourselves. Lack of furniture in the sauna terrace.
4. If you have additional persons staying, they charge extra, but the additional beds are very old matrass, that has bend in the middle and the rack is barely holding.
5. Terrace furniture's are deteriorated, only part of chairs is usable, table paint is scratched from deterioration.
6. Both grills poorly maintained (gas grill and brick one), we just bought our own, single-use grill to survive.
7. Pier is completely not maintained, thus besides the fact that is was fully dirty from birds excrements and leaves or other dirty things, when walking one had to avoid nails and sticking out wooden parts.
8. The boat that is included in the rent, has not been cleaned ever, the smell of rotten water with mud and dirtiness makes it unusable.
9. Please check upon arrival that you have enough towels and sheets, as we realized late in the night that owner forgot to deliver required amount.
