Vey nice visit to Forssa and the famous national park close by. Hotel rooms were a little simple but very well cleaned and fresh. The personal and service were very good indeed and staff was helpful in answering all questions

Nice and centrally located hotel. Very good value for money: decent nightly rates, free garage, sauna with jacuzzi, good included breakfast and nice evening restaurant.

Sleeping quality was good and overall service fast and precise. Unfortunately the TV in the room wasn't a smart one, no hotel info or casting/mirroring features.

I have stayed many times in this hotel. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect as the hotel is close to the center and bus station. They serve really good breakfast. Never miss their Sauna/Jacuzzi.

Fantastic hotel to visit with a whole family! Service and friendliness of staff was excellent all the time. Childrens were also very well welcome and take care. Room was better and larger than we expect and we´re surprising positively. I think that hotel is repairing not long ago because it was quite clean and pleasant at all. Breakfast was tasteful and plentiful. Sauna and swimming in the morning was the point of very good visit. That was very good hotel. We willingly come back again! Thank you very much!

Stayed here for one night and chose the hotel only because of the location and we needed a hotel which accepts also dogs. We arrived by a car and the the hotel got own free garage. The town of Forssa has suffered a lot lately because of closing businesses and it shows also in this hotel. It's in need of renovation ja staff seemed to be very bored. The breakfast was tired, not as fresh as expected under Scandic brand. The room was in basic condition. The restaurant was noisy and open very late, but our room was in the other end and it was very quiet.

Bringing the dog wasn't a problem at all, only had to confirm it by email after online booking. I know some other hotels give their pet guests some special treatment.

The Scandic Forssa overlooks the city square in Forssa. We chose this hotel because we were visiting our daughter who was on a university placement in the University Hospital in Forssa so the hotel was only a short walk away from her apartment. Let's highlight the positives. The reception areas, restaurant, gym and sauna were all well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. The underground car park was convenient and very secure as you needed your room key to gain access. The staff in this hotel were second to none, always welcoming, helpful and happy to assist with any query or request, they were a real plus in this hotel.
The negatives in my view were that the standard of
the rooms were not up to scratch. They were tired and in need of redecoration. Our bedding had tears in the
sheets, curtains were hanging off from their hooks, it just needed some tlc.Breakfast was a bit dull and basic.I also think that the rooms would have benefited from more frequent cleaning as I feel this was not carried out often enough during our stay and if only there were tea and coffee making facilities in our room.Would I go back? Yes, but with some reservations, the staff were great but these other areas could be
improved.

I was staying last night in this hotel in a superior room. I had to go check to the reception that this really was a superior room as it was nothing like that. Not even the pictures or the description on the web page were similair. The rood was REALLY small and worn out and the bathroom had very old tiles and the corridors were worse than in an student apartment in London.

If you really need to say in Forssa you propably have no choice but if you can stay in any other town please do!

We stayed at the Scandic in Forssa for one night in July.

The hotel lobby and facade were renovated and nice, but the rooms, corridors and breakfast room were badly outdated. It could clearly be seen that the hotel has served as a popular party venue as the carpets were dirty and stained and the breakfast room still had some lights and decorations from a night club.

The room we stayed in was large, but not very convenient. There was an old leather couch which was very uncomfortable to sit in and there was a very strong smell of detergent coming from the bathroom. At night we were woken by the sounds of people returning from the night clubs to their rooms.

The garage was also inconvenient. We left the car on the low floor and had to take two different elevators and walk a long corridor to reach the hotel.

On the whole the hotel did not live up to the expectations we had for a Scandic hotel. Next time we visit Forssa we will probably go to Rantasipi which, even though outdated and located outside of the centre, provides a more "balanced" experience.

Spent a night with 3 friends of mine in September 2011 in the hotel.

Service was really great, for example sauna was warmed up for us with after the regular hours which was perfect kick start for our evening.

Breakfast was good Scandic standard however furnitures in the room (we had family room) need some urgent attention!

Hotel has excellent staff and very good restaurant. Breakfast has plenty of selections, something for everyone. Free parking carage and wifi for hotel quests.
Good location in the center of the city.
I would recommend this to business travelers and also families.
