The first thing that strikes you about the hotel is its neat café like appeal. This modern family-run hotel has beautiful areas where you can sit and relax and admire the surrounding hills and the Etruscan town of Castiglion Fiorentino. The rooms are spacious and have a contemporary feel about them and come equipped with a huge bed, individually controlled air conditioning, satellite TV and free WIFI connection. The bathroom has a separate shower, WC and a hairdryer. The hotel also has a large private parking for cars and busses. On the top roof you can find an open-air swimming pool and the panoramic terrace offers a great view of the town. Next to the swimming pool, there is a well equipped fitness room. Coming to the hotel restaurant, it offers a wide choice of cuisine, ranging from traditional Tuscan dishes to specialties of various regions of Italy, with some hints of international cuisine. The hotel has decent rooms and is comfortable, but nothing great to write about. The reception area is very good, but WiFi was pathetic. I had a tough time to do a online checkin. The breakfast was decent, but not much of variety.

We stayed at this hotel on a trip through Italy for one night and found it very suitable for our needs: the bathroom is well equipped, everything is clean, and the breakfast is adequate. It is suitable for a short stay to explore the adjacent towns in Tuscany. Check-in and check-out was fast and uncomplicated.
