We were on a short visit of 2 nights. The house and grounds are more than one could expect, considering how modest the website in its description. We were cordially met and given a lovely room with a beautiful aspect. Then we went in search of the pub for food. We walked through the gardens and were amazed by the...

Little Northcourt is an exceptionally spacious, interesting, clean, versatile and well equipped self catering house. James is a very helpful and friendly host. White cotton bed linen, tasteful and unfussy decor plus an eclectic mix of older furniture help to make the house feel homely. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and there are hilly walks directly from the front door....

After a recommendation from a friend we booked Northcourt Manor for the night. The house and gardens are truly stunning and set in the most beautiful location. Christine warmly welcomed us (and we were an hour early) putting a vase of daffodils in our room and offering us tea and home made cake. We were in the Mary Gordon room...

Excellent holiday rental, great value for money. We were a group of 34 - couples, young families and a couple of dogs. Northcourt has a wonderful layout with just about every room ensuite, so everyone had enough space to relax and enjoy their holiday whilst being sociable in the communal spaces. Including the well manicured gardens and grounds. The area...

The position of the house is lovely, not far from good beaches, excellent walks and only 20 minutes from...

Our Art group of 30 people had the most delightful week on the Isle of Wight staying in 2 wings at NorthCourt Manor. It is a beautiful house and the owners were most helpful. Apart from amazing rooms to sleep in and the large hall which we used for some meals, the kitchen was equipped better than any self catering...

From the moment we arrived we were smitten with this fabulous place. John and Christine could not be more accommodating. It was like staying in their home as part of their family. The breakfasts were wonderful and you can lose yourself in the wonderful grounds . We stayed away from al the tourist places and used John's maps to plan...

We had a wonderful warm three days staying in the B&B. John and Christine are very friendly and passionate about their large and beautiful house and extensive gardens which they have lovingly restored - at 15 acres it is a lifetime's work with many exotic plants in the microclimate of the valley. The house has enormous bedrooms and a library/billiard...

My wife and I have just returned from a four night B&B stay - John and Christine were the most perfect hosts, the house is amazing, the grounds just go on and on and the location in a quiet village with the convenience of a local pub for a sociable evening with the locals was perfect. In short Northcourt is...

A wonderful place to stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and full of history. John and Christine are warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and full of character. The children fed the chickens and adored Barney the dog. John gave the children a DUNGEON key and a torch on the second day and let them explore the servants quarters!!...
