We stayed here for three nights in total and it really feels like a wonderful place to stay. Although basic, the rooms are clean and the entire guest house is hovering above the sea on stilts. The owners were incredibly helpful with making sure we got to places for the right price and that they could recommend places to see...

Stayed at crystal lodge for 3 nights and it was perfect! Don't be put off by the shabby look of it, girlie was so helpful, a great host and company, made us all feel very welcome! Room is everything you need for a few nights, fans upstairs which was fine we were out all day and room was cool enough...

When we were there they had problems with the water on the Island. The Lodge doesnt have it's own water supply, so no shower for us. The room we had, 700 peso, was okay. Had a musquitonet, own bathroom (not clean) and electricity. The best part here thats it's not on the main road and it has a really nice...

A friend told me about how awesome this place was and its true. It was a wonderful place right over the water with a very traditional feel. It is not luxury by any means but the friendly staff make up for that. They even helped me every way possible when I broke my wrist, taking me to the hospital and...

To start it all off. My bed went through the floor. Litteraly one of the legs went through the wooden floor so my whole bed was tipped. The lodge is placed on bamboo pillars in the water so i did not feel like sleeping in the water. However they did manage to fix this gigantic hole by putting a piece...

I was staying here for a few days and totally enjoyed my stay. The owners and their staff were really helpful and always around and open for questions. The rooms are quiet and made of bamboo. There is a little kitchen for cooking and you can have some breakfast in the morning. There are some hammocks where you can realx...

First, the good things: Location in Coron town, good. Wifi, very good (very poor wiifi in 99% of Coron). Common areas, very good (the sea surrounding the lodge, a pair of hammocks, plenty of tables, chairs and space to seat, read, etc). Good vibe. Now, the bad ones: The individual room I had (I can't speak about the others, honestly):...

10 minutes after arrival, a staff member came to the room asking for immediate payment. I asked if she would wait until my friend was out of the shower and she said she would wait in the room with me. I asked her not to. I then had a shower ten minutes later and again she came in and demanded...

Definitely NOT for the high-maintenance traveler. No aircon and all that jazz. Other than the obvious lack of amenities, for the price it is the best stay. If you can do without all that stuff, then you will love it here. This place had the best atmosphere of any hotel or resort or hostel or motel or lodge or whatever...
