Just come home from 4 nights staying at The Bridge of Cally Hotel. We have stayed at this place on 7 previous occasions since the mid 1990's so I know how it used to be run, how it used to feel visiting and how you were looked after as guests. So it was very disappointing to see it in its...

Came to see and have a meal in this hotel , with a view to booking a couple of nights stay. Very slow service and poorly trained staff . People seemed to be complaining around us, of their meals not served complete and having to wait an inexcusable time . Our meals not very appetising, my pork very, very tough,...

Great stay at Bridge of Cally Hotel stayed three nights quiet and peaceful good food and friendly staff Amber was most helpful and looked after us well. Breakfast there were plenty to choose from and a varied menu that was enjoyed every morning. Great meal in restaurant at night. Many Thanks, Robert.

We visited on Monday 13 July. Arriving for a family dinner at the time we booked we found our table not set up, the girl behind the bar was poorly trained and disappeared half way through our orders. She didn't explain she had to change a barrel, nor did she offer ice, lemon or know what Lea and Perrins was!...

I understand that this place has changed hands relatively recently and is now part of a small chain owned by a former employee of Crerar. It has changed for the worse in my opinion. The main gripe I have with the hotel was the shockingly low staffing levels. The hotel appearred to be full (29 rooms). There were only 2...

Stayed here with my boyfriend at the weekend; was exactly what we needed to get away from it all. Relaxed atmosphere, quiet location, friendly welcoming staff, spacious room with comfy bed and great food. Superior room upgrade was great. Big thanks to all the staff, will recommend and will definitely be back

Glad to say this was only a one-night stay. We were on the ground floor & it was SO noisy from the room above. Our room was rather faded & the bathroom was very outmoded. Food at both dinner & breakfast was absolutely average with a very limited choice. In my opinion it was not good value, such a shame...

We spend the night hear on an itison deal, from start to finish we could not fault it . The staff were small in numbers but huge on attention . We watched them work from checking in to serving drinks serving meals to hoovering and dusting . We would recommend it for a nice get away

Came here for a drink while walking the dogs. I went to the bar and asked for 2 whiskeys and diet cokes. The girl asked what kind of whiskey I wanted and I said, just the house. She looked her nose down at me - and I said "Just the cheapest as it is getting mixed". She put the 2...

In general, I think this place is good and I think the staff are brilliant. Really friendly and accommodating! However, there were a few basic things which could be improved on. For example, the shower in the bedroom was so low that anyone over my height (5ft5) would have trouble fitting under it as it didn't stay up. Also even...
