I was back here again because I just love the location and comfort of this B & B. It is down to earth and homely and provides all the expected comforts at a very reasonable rate. For me it epitomises Mull and I am delighted to return. The Hostess is friendly and direct and what you see is what you...

We asked about ground floor bedrooms and were told that was fine. Unfortunately, we did not ask about access so found steps to the front door a surprise. The steps were covered with plants so awkward if you are not steady on your feet, with no handrail. The room was fine, but difficult to negotiate all the furniture; mind a...

If you are visiting Mull, Lip na Cloiche is the place to stay if you want a real feeling for the island. Lucy has created a unique garden setting for her beautiful home and we greatly enjoyed meeting and talking with her. You need your own transport as the location is on the sparsely populated west coast, surrounded by rugged...

What a beginning to a two week Hebridean adventure. A great journey from Lochaline to Ulva Ferry to discover that the photos of Lip na Cloiche from the internet failed to capture the reality. What a beautiful, mesmerising place. Lucy made us welcome and we especially appreciated the fresh sweetpeas picked for our room. A delight of a room. Our...

Lip Na Cloiche is a visual feast I could have dined at for longer than our 4 night stay, I will be back for seconds! I would urge anyone with a passion for creativity to visit this B&B. I was suprised to be asked to remove footwear immediately on arrival but I instantly understood why. I have a keen interest...

When you arrive at Lip na Cloiche you know straight away that you have made a brilliant choice. The setting is wonderful, overlooking the Isle of Ulva and as soon as you enter the house it becomes a place of fascination. But it is the garden which is the crowning glory. Not many people have their gardens permanently open to the...

Myself and my partner stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. It is a very charming cottage filled with lovely and unusual things and the most amazing garden I have ever come across, Lucy who runs it has done all this work herself and I found her truly inspiring. We stayed in the double room which was lovely...

Just back from three nights stay at Lip na Cloiche and would recommend this lovely place to anyone. Lucy runs the house and garden single handed as well as selling eggs, veg, her own crafts and a huge range of plants. She has such energy and enthusiasm for life that you can't help being inspired by her! We came here...

This is a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet holiday and unwind. A lovely homely house, well furnished and maintained, with a Hostess of unique character and charm. She was so welcoming and helpful and I would go back at the earliest opportunity. Her Garden is a mirror of her personality- unique! I could not help being captivated by the...

This really is a charming B & B and you get what it says on the tin. Lip na Cloiche is a lovely cosy cottage set in gorgeous surroundings. The views from the front of the cottage are stunning and from the top of the garden even better. . The wildlife which can be seen in the proximity of the...
