A country escape in historic Weeke Barton. You are truly wrapped in the Devonshire countryside from your arrival. Jo and Sam have created a space that allows you, to feel you have been invited by family , from the honesty bar to the grounds, you can just pull up a chair and take in the view. Foodie heaven, Jo has a natural talent in the kitchen, making her own granola and bread for breakfast and you will not be disappointed if you have dinner there . The property is well situated for country walks and also for drives that allow you to experience what Devon has to offer. We can not recommend Weeke Barton enough.

Property's Favourite Review
We recently stayed at Weeke Barton as part of a holiday in Devon and absolutely loved it. The building itself is gorgeous and you feel as though you are in a countryside fairytale! We had booked the Orla room which was super spacious and had the most comfortable bed! The free standing bath in the room was a great touch and was so lovely to use after doing long walks. All the decor of the rooms (bedrooms, lounge, dining room etc) was so cool; Sam and Jo have great taste and pay attention to even the smallest things making it feel equally stylish and comfortable. Other highlights were the food. We had breakfast and dinner there most days which was delicious and the portions of the vegetarian food was spot on as you often don't get as much in comparison to the non-veggie meals in places. Jo's homemade granola is so so so good! We also brought a few bags to have back at home. There are also great pubs nearby (The Nobody Inn, Manor Inn) and a vineyard which unfortunately wasn't open when we were, otherwise we would have booked a tasting session. We will definitely return and highly recommend booking Weeke Barton to those wanting to visit Dartmoor and the nearby areas. Thanks Jo & Sam!

Sam and Jo made us so welcome and have clearly invested a huge amount of love and attention in Weeke Barton. The food is magnificent; breakfast highlight is the homemade granola, and dinner was a 5 star extravaganza. A great base for exploring Dartmoor and very close to Exeter.

We visited Weeke Barton for a long weekend getaway, staying in Henry's Room. Our stay was perfect from the wonderful breakfasts and dinners to the friendly and very helpful hosts. The room was well designed, with a very comfortable bed I did not want to leave. I would recommend staying here to anyone looking to go to Dartmoor.
