There is no shop and, as this is a relatively isolated hotel location, your question prompts a good point regarding whether guests might find a mini store for snacks, stationery, toiletries etc to be of benefit. As others have pointed out, newspapers are available to order from reception and I also recall several titles being on the desk on a complimentary first come first served basis.
