The beautiful sunset over the Van der Kloof Dam was great. Alot of game and the ideal place not only for the game but also bird viewing, hiking, fishing, ect. Makes you feel at home the moment you arrive. After the rain this place will be a gem in central South Africa.

Arriving at Otterskloof is like arriving at an oasis in the desert. The lovely green laws and swimming pool and air conditioned rooms were just what we needed after a long hot drive from Cape Town. The home cooked meal and friendly staff also made it a memorable stay.

The stay was amazing, great spacious rooms, enough entertainment to keep family busy and bonding, excellent service, great views. The place is really cool in summer, nice morning and evening breeze, enough shade due to number of trees, lawn well maintained, the place is magnificent. It's bit in the middle of nowhere but it's all worth it. Thanks Marelize for...

Excellent food and staff. The farm is beautiful and well maintained. I can recommend this for family outings or corporate functions. Otterskloof is an upmarket lodge with down to earth people. You will not be sorry.

We will defenitely come again. A big THANK YOU to you all and also to David & Maggy for their spesial little tasks during our stay. (They were...

Don't deserve it's advertised 4 stars. We were there in December in 37 degrees with no aircons anywhere. The pool was so dirty I could not let my children swim. Food was anything but "fine dining" as advertised.Website is very misleading.looks a lot better than it is. Wanted to stay for 2 night, but could not get away faster.

We would like to extend an apology that we did not meet your expectations. Over the 2014 December holidays we experienced an abnormally high daytime temperature - this was a phenomenon experienced over the rest of the country as well and we do concede that without conditioning the rooms may have been uncomfortable. This situation will be remedied in the...

It was a stopover from Mosselbay to Pretoria, we ended up staying another night. Went for a game drive in our own car and saw 4 Rhinos, troop of 30+ giraffes and various antelope. Next time we will go to the huge dam where you can go fishing. The scenery is superb. Rooms are comfortable, staff is very friendly and...
