Maggie and Davie , made us feel totally welcome and safe in these strange times we are in , the pods are amazing and very comfortable and clean , sitting round the fire pit of an evening looking at the stars is a great way to end of a night with great company Davie was a great tour guide , thats possibly because he wanted to come and enjoy our company haha ! , great location and so close to getting anywhere you wanted to get to to
This is our second time staying here and definitely won't be our last. Maggie is such a wonderful host who went out her way to make sure everything was well organised for our stay (we had to reschedule previously due to local lockdown) Both times our pods have been spotless and so cosy. Maggie and davey have done so well to make sure everything is safe during this pandemic which was really reassuring for our first trip away. Inverness is a quick drive away or £10 in a taxi and we enjoyed a drive right round loch ness. Even the hens gave us lots of laughs with their cheeky personalities. Thanks again...until next time.
I cannot recommend Inverness Glamping highly enough! Great location with close proximity to town and a short drive to Loch Ness. Maggie and Davey were wonderful hosts who went out of their way to ensure I had the most pleasant experience. The pods are beautiful and clean with a comfortable bed and lovely view overlooking Inverness. I look forward to staying again!
Small, cosy, and really enjoyable experience. We stayed here for a night at the start of our NC500 (Highlands and Islands) journey, and it was a fantastic start to the trip. THE SERVICE We were greeted by a very friendly owner, who gave us the keys to our pods, showed us around the shared kitchen cabin, and pointed us to the logs for making a fire. THE PODS The pods were really done up to a gorgeous standard. It felt more like home (but in a magical sort of way). The design of the bathroom and bunk beds was amazing, and although our kids loved it, it is also brilliant for couples. THE EXTRAS There is a fire pit outside, and we were able to sit around it in the freezing cold and enjoy roasting marshmallows. There is also some covered outdoor seating with blankets provided, as well as a dartboard for entertainment, and a kitchen for any meal or drink making. MINOR NEGATIVES It is just three pods, and they aren't really located in the countryside. They're actually located inside a residential estate. Thankfully, they are on a hill, so you do look over the rooftops, which slightly compensates for the lack of view.…
We really wanted to love this place. It was very comfortable and clean. We ended up staying for both nights we reserved, but did so with hesitation. We are travelers from out of the country. We were relying on more accommodations, and the main one that was advertised. They just didn’t come through with it. We specifically booked hotels with WiFi access, and we needed it at night to plan the next day. Their WiFi didn’t work. We called and had them reset their modem, but no luck. Also, coming from another country we relied on soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They didn’t provide that either. I suppose this place would be great for locals, but I would plan otherwise if that’s not the case.
