Just stayed for one "sleepless" night. The only downsides that I found with this hotel was the thinness of the walls separating the rooms - I could hear every conversation and bodily function from next door, and the reception does not appear to be 24 hours. Our stay was comfortable and warm, staff were efficient and attentive as well as being informative. Full English breakfast was just that and plenty of it along with toast and preserves. I would not hesitate to book in the future.

We went for a Christmas meal at lunch time today and it was the worst meal I have ever eaten. There were over 70 of us so I expected a slight wait for our meal but we sat for 1 and a half hours before the meal was served up and when it came it was almost inedible. I had...

Good, clean rooms. Tasty bar menu and good quality breakfast. Friendly and prompt service. Well stocked bar and football on the TV. Plenty of parking directly outside room. Only negative is the rather puny shower.

Great place for a function. Friendly staff that care about the customers first. Always welcoming and helpful. Easy access from the mainland with plenty of parking available. It's not an expensive place either, well worth the money.

On 28th October 2016 we held a business dinner for 63 member and guests in the restaurant at the Abbey Hotel. When planning the arrangements we dealt with the manager, Avesh, who was very friendly and went out of his way to help in any way he could. The price charged for the food and wine was very reasonable. On...
