When we booked plan was to find Hotel near to Colditz, this showed up so we booked. On arrival after a long detour due to Bridge closure which was 50 metres from Hotel. On booking in this was when we found Colditz was 26 kilometres away. However the staff were very good allowed us to use garage at rear of premises for bikes...was to small for 2 bikes however the offer was made. Room was ok and comfy, Restaurant food was very good as was the local beer. Breakfast was ok as well.

We rocked up to this Hotel and could not believe our luck for the money £30 night with breakfast.We were visiting Colditz and this Hotel is approx 12 miles out side of Colditz but is worth the drive.The scenic route to this hotel is amazing,but once we checked in it was one of the best hotels i have stayed.the staff are amazing and the welcome is second to none and the food is to die for and very very reasonable.Would 100% recommend.
