This was our 7th visit to this island and my second reveiw, it will be by no means our last visit. Number 8 was booked before we left for Feb 2010. We have no concerns in returning, I have already replaced my divers torch which flooded (divers error on my part) and can’t wait to try it on the local...

What we wanted was our own paradise; a tropical island experience, a nice place to swim with lots to see, peace and quiet, comfortable rooms, good food and opportunity to spend quality time together to celebrate our up and coming 20th anniversary. Fiha-Lhohi as it is pronounced, provides it all. We arrived at lunchtime (+6hrs GMT) and were directed to...

This was our second visit to Fihalhohi. The first time we went was in 1998 and we fell in love with the place and vowed to go back sometime. This we did in March this year and found it just as charming. It had changed quite a lot in that there were a lot more rooms and path lighting. The...

This was our second visit and we couldn't wait to return. We were aware that earlier this year there were some concerns but we were sure that all would be well. And it was! We were remembered by some of the staff and made to feel very welcome. The comfort room was clean and spacious with a patio from which...

We returned from the island at the end of April and it was fantastic. Like everyone else we were concerned about the feedback but need not have been. I think that this is really all about whether you want the high profile all inclusive or the more relaxed smaller location. We researched the options and were very happy with the...

Me, my wife and our 4 year old son, we had the best holidays ever. The sand was white. The sea was crystal clear and a truly unique island. Snorkeling was amazing and just off the beach. We swam and snorkellled with "Nemos", rays, sharks, turtles and every type of fish you can ever think of. My son spent hours...

Just returned from our second trip to Fihalhohi in four years. We really enjoyed the food, which seems to have improved from our last visit. The drinks are expensive-$5 for a beer, $6 for a non alcoholic cocktail and $9 for an alcoholic cocktail, but that was no surprise. Despite the fact that we had some rain in our fortnight...
