Location wise this is a good accommodation to visit Ellora caves as this is only 5 minutes walking distance from the entrance. You may get entry to cave at even 6 am sharp from this hotel. But the quality of accommodation is poor. Rooms are dirty, not at all been cleaned for the 4 days we halted, even after repeated request...

We booked Hotel Kailas for stay at Ellora. Knowing that the rooms available in Vrindavan may not match the cleanliness and view of Kailas Hotel. We preferred to have lunch and dinner in Vrindavan restaurant considering the low cost and familiar taste. Food for two will cost 350-400 Rupees. Curries/Dal might be over oily. Rotis are served hot. Sides like...

I only had lunch at this place. It is one of the best I had in years.. Hot rotis and surprisingly very tasty sabzi and interestingly they do not use onion. I will visit this place again for their lunch. The restaurant is in the open near the main road, so expect some dust and noise

`Aap hiya pey rahe na rahe, khane ke liye aapko kilometer dursey aana parega'. That was confident Mr. Jain, the proprietor - the English translation of his statement is `Whether you stay here or not - for food, you will come to my place from kilometers away'. I was staying at neigbouring Hotel Kailash hotel, and found their restaurant somewhat...

If you are looking for a meal while in Ellora this unpretentious place is the answer. It is an upgraded dhaba but their service is prompt and the food is tasty. We stayed at hotel Kailas but ended up eating here since we found the bajra roti ( a coarse grain eaten by locals) accompanied by vegetables far preferable to the options...

Unless you are running on a vert very very very toght budget, please avoid this palce. Throw in another thousand rupees or so and check in at the nearby hotel Kailas. The rooms are cramped, bedsheets dirty, bathroom dingy! Overall an miserable stay!

We ate here after a mining at the caves. The Thali here is excellent and unlimited, as well as an absolute bargain. The staff are lovely and topped us up continuously. We would definitely recommend stopping here when you go to the caves (it's only 3 minutes drive from the entrance to the Ellora caves). L&J
