On Saturday I was attending a concert at the Maltings at Snape and I found the Bell which was only 10 mins drive away. I stayed for 2 nights and was immediately made very welcome by staff who seemed capable of doing every job in the hotel!! I had been warned( after I booked) that some rooms require a lot...

This was a real gem to find! I am extremely fussy about good food and was blown away by the menu here. It was fresh, true to the region and impeccably presented and incredibly tasty. I ate far too much, having ordered a number of starters instead of a main (because they all sounded so good). However, I didn't regret...

We had such a lovely weekend at this friendly restaurant with rooms. The food and service were exceptional The menu was imaginative and it was hard to choose as all the dishes sounded wonderful with fresh fish and seasonal vegetables. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the extras and plenty of hot water. I would like to...

The is a lovely restaurant with rooms. The staff are friendly and the prices in all aspects are very fair. The room we stayed in was well appointed and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and a good nights sleep was had. There is no parking at the hotel but there is a free car park very close by and...

Fantastic food cooked to order even children's meals were cooked fresh.... Fresh fish dishes and fresh produce. They have a steak night on a Thursday...steaks cooked to order as requested! Really lovely to eat out...

The staff are very friendly. The room (no.7), was clean, well maintained and comfy. The restaurant is the star. An imaginative menu, the food is fabulous, I've not enjoyed three courses as much for a very long time, and breakfast was pretty good too. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for two nights. We had room 9 which was cosy and quiet. The staff were really helpful and friendly. There is no onsite parking but it is only £2.50 per day and 2 mins walk away. The food was very good. It is easy to get to the coast.

Stayed here recently for two nights and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our room was at the top of the hotel (No 10) which was a bit of a climb but very good once you were there. The room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. There were real hangers in the wardrobe instead of those things on...

Stayed recently for 1 night whilst visiting Aldeburgh, Southwold, Orford and found it a good choice as everything closer to the coast seemed to be booked. Stayed in Room 2 which,as other reviewers have pointed out, is perfectly OK but you can be disturbed by smokers talking outside in the courtyard which is directly below. Bed very comfortable. We had...
