Fit for short stay & business trip. Room is clean and not to far from local cafe & convinient stores. They provide transportation from and to Eduard Osok Airport. Simple breakfast choices but sufficient.

We stopped for one night after our scuba diving trip at Kri Island. We did ask for a non smoking room in our original booking but was given one smelt like a chimney. The front desk staff was very apologetic and a different room was given. The standard room has no window so it is on the dark side even with all the lights switched on. Buffet breakfast was included and I found them very tasty. There are plenty of local eating places around the area and a good meal can be have for around IRp35,000.00. Good value.

Good hotel to stay after (long) flights and take a good sleep before enjoying a stay at Raja Ampat. I arrived early and becausr the room was free, I could check in directly. Be aware the area is not special, street with some small shops. Food in the restaurant is quite good.

Traveling solo and first time in Sorong, l didn't know what to expect. To my surprise, this Hotel was fantastic. The front desk staff speak English quite well. And are extremely helpful, professional and lovely people. There's a large restaurant down stairs with a huge menu. Although like many places, the breakfast wasn't overly hot. The room l had was perfect. TV, coffee, comfy bed, A/C and rather quiet. The Hotel's location was fine, depending what you're doing. I totally recommend this hotel, and hopefully I'll be back there next visit to Sorong.

Sorong has been built up over a very short period of time to meet the growing number of tourists coming to Raja Ampat. With that said, this is a nice hotel for the area. There are no 5-star hotels or resorts in Sorong, I would say that the best hotels in Sorong are probably 2 or 3-starred hotels. Royal Mamberamo was a very good hotel for a 1-night transit. We got to Sorong around 9:30am and the staff at the hotel were great and let us into our room after about a 15 minute wait (the regular check-in time wasn't until the afternoon so we were very grateful to be let in early after an all-night flight). I would say the 2 downsides to our room was: * It was in the middle of the hotel so we didn't have any windows and the lights weren't super bright so it felt very dark in our room all the time. On the one hand, it felt kind of depressing but on the other hand, we were so exhausted from traveling for 3 days straight that it made it great for sleeping! * Even though we had a non-smoking room, it was obvious that other customers must have been smoking in their rooms or maybe in the stairways because we could smell smoke in our room. The hotel has great wifi (definitely a plus as most dive resorts/liveaboards probably won't have super reliable or fast Internet), and provides breakfast. If you find yourself in need of a hotel for a night before or after your visit to Raja Ampat, this isn't a bad hotel (although maybe request a room with windows).

below average hotel, no atmosphere, strange rooms with strange furniture and no rooms. Breakfast and dinner is below average, no taste but the view over the sea is very nice. More a place for large conferences.

RMH is nice.It could be more. Room was dark but clean and equipped well.Wifi was fastest that i ever had, during my over 12 months traveling at Indonesia.Only complain was breakfast.Western customers dont eat nasi goreng for breakfast. There was or wasnt toast, cheese and fruits. There should be every time when you enter the dining hall. Overall, RMH was OK

This is a pretty basic place but it's generally adequate for a transit hotel. I wouldn't want to stay here for more than 1 night though. My room wasn't very clean and I encountered a few cockroaches (ok it's a warm climate so that happens, but a bit of better cleaning would be nice). Very noisy throughout the night with slamming doors. simple but ok buffet breakfast with decent local coffee. Wifi was slow but reliable enough. Friendly staff. Not much to see in Sorong. Location was adequate in what seemed to be the downtown area.

Centrally located, my room was clean and tidy, the food was delicious, value for money. Reservation was handled efficiently. Speedy check-in as they have complete record of each guest. Speedy check - out too. They received major credit card. A hotel with guest oriented services.

Stopped over and generally satisfied. I booked a better room than they gave us but the receptionist insisted the very basic room, without any view at all when there was supposed to be one, was it. Could not be bothered to argue. Restaurant food was really excellent and v happy with quality, service and price. Take the car service to the airport, cheaper than taxis which try to rip you off.
