We came here to see the orangutans, and we were not disappointed. The Eco Lodge is a wonderful place to stay for the experience. The rooms were an adventure with the bathroom with an open air skylight. It was a little tricky if you got up in the middle of the night with the beds on a platform, but all...

Basic rooms, with really comfortable beds - what more do you need? Woken in the morning by the local monkeys, which was amusing if a little loud, and fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle in the evening. All staff were friendly and helpful and food was nice - especially breakfast. Really liked the chillout area with beanbags that...

The rooms are good and clean, the open toilet adds to the experience if you are not accostumed to it. The shower has cold water but you can ask a room with hot water. We did the 2 day trekking - Hello Jungle Pax - the trekking was amazing and very well organized, the food was really good and the...

Interesting place with all the trees and shrubs labelled. Only ate a meal here and the pizza was excellent value in lovely surroundings. However I can't understand why packets of Orangutan coffee are so expensive though when they are made in Sumatra. Cheaper in the expensive Uk supermarket Waitrose. What's eco about that?

The rooms are okay, the beds are good. Shower and toilet are clean. Staff is friendly ( some of them overdo the service in the resto). the food in the restaurant is not great, but okay. What is annoying is the noise in the weekends of the locals with their karaoke sets and extremely loud music. Quite frankly is we...

This is a place which should be rated in minus but there is no option for that. Firstly, there is no reason why this accommodation can be called an ecolodge. Calling an under-average accommodation ecolodge is a mockery of environmental movements working for Eco tourism. Lack of basic facilities like hot water when you come back drenched from river rafting...

This hotel was newly finished when we were there. We had planned on staying somewhere else, but our driver took us here instead. It was late and we were tired, so we agreed. It was a little more than we had wanted to spend, but the property is beautiful and the eco part of the establishment is great. The room...

We had a really nice stay in these lodges. The room was really big and clean. We always had a good breakfast and diner there. The jungle trek was amazing, we got to see several orang utans and other monkeys. Our guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of information. I would certainly stay here again!

The say they are the ecolodge but they are not that eco friendly. The room was very basic and we had to take a shower with cold water. The shower didnt have a lot pressure. The price is overrated. You can have a cheaper and better place. The restaurant is ok. The breakfast doesnt include that much.

They market themself as the 'ecolodge' and they may be eco friendly, but the rooms aren't all that. Cold water showers, dirty bathrooms and doors that don't close entirely . Don't get me wrong, the room is okay, but you could get the same for a lower price!
