We went there twice as a special treat for my daughters. Once we took our 3 year old and another time we took our 11 year old. My husband doesn't eat meat and both my daughters are very fussy but each time we all found something we liked. The food is lovely, they use local produce, the menu was different...

Work was still being completed on this place but we had such an excellent stay in its current condition I can only imagine how much better it might be. We were travelling as a party of four with our two sons aged 2 and 3 and our first stroke of luck was the family room (suite of rooms) in the...

Very unassuming from the front, directly on the main street of this small village, but the real charm of this former coach inn rests inside. It has been very well restored and has a lot of character. The rooms are divided between different sections in and behind the front part. We chose a bungalow type of room in the garden....

Travelling with my mother, aunt and my hero of a cousin who was doing all the driving from Cherbourg, we had decided to take a slight detour to Mont St Michel (highly recommend amazing) then discovered all surrounding hotels to be fully booked. Trying not to panic we drove in the general direction of our ultimate destination in the Loire...

Good service and excellent food from the set menu. Would go back again and again. The restaurant specialises in fish but not solely. I had a shellfish stater, cod mains and a wonderful rhubarb desert. The house wine served in a carafe was of good quality.

A great all round experience. The leisure centre was better than many 4 star hotels. The location is easy to access from the main road and within easy access to Dinan, Alligator Bay and St Michaels mount.

The restaurant is located inside the hotel Lion d'Or in the city centre of St Brices En Coglès. The location is very nice, composed of three parts, one internal room, the verande and the inner courtyard. The kitchen is typical french with some typical products from the region (Bretagne), especially the ris de veau and tartines of goat cheese. The...

We booked on the basis of the website and for once it was all much nicer even than we expected (usually it is the reverse). The town is beautifully maintained, and has such lovely flower displays, and the hotel is equally delightful and welcoming, with the pleasantest staff. We were in a room over the main street but it was...

We selected this hotel as a intermittent stop for our trip further south. We wanted to stay in a quiet area offering traditional good food. We fully enjoyed the dinner and the service and advice provided by Olivier and his friend. We made a trip to Fougères and this town has plenty to offer for an area which is not...

We were looking for a place to stay not too far from Cherbourg and the ferry back to the UK, en route from Ceret near the Spanish Border. The Village is very well kept and easily found off the E3. The hotel is much bigger than it looks from the road outside and has a large gated secure car park...
