Right on the beach with some amazing sunsets, great snorkeling and rock pools, home cooked meals and Siope was happy to taxi us around the island (there is limited access to bicycles on the island). Clean, tidy and spacious en-suite cabins. Max the dog is very friendly (and protective of the guests!)

Very few people go to Eua Island in Tonga. If you go, there really are only two places to stay. The Deep Resort is a bit primitive, just like the whole island. The accomodations were quite good and the views spectacular. The young managers are learning the art of service. Make sure you ask for the dinner you want or... More

A very low key resort. Nice en-suite huts with good views from private porch. I only had one night since I was on a work trip to Eua. The cabins were clean and cute. No a/c so if this is a must for you this won't work, but I am not sure if anywhere in Eua has a/c. The resort... More

We stayed at both the Hideaway and the Deep Resort in September, 2015. The deep resort was beautiful. Right on the beach which is pretty much private. Better food, service and facilities than the Hideaway. The Hideaway was nice, but Siope and his family made our stay at the Deep Resort fantastic. He's very helpful - but make sure to... More

The Deep Resort in 'Eua will not disappoint you! The location is by far the best in 'Eua. There is a lovely beach right out the front and you can walk along an explore beside the ocean. If you come during whale season you can sit on the beach or on the deck and watch endless whales surfacing and breaching... More

I've stayed at the Deep Resort twice now and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! 'Eua itself is a great destination with heaps of outdoorsy activities to do. All accommodation options are quite basic, but I think the Deep Resort is my favourite. It is a very tidy little place in a in a lovely location, you are only... More

A friend and I had a day to see Eua. The plane ride over was delayed due to weather so when we arrived on the Island we had 3 hours to explore and make it back to the Ferry. We were worried we wouldn't be able to see much. When we arrived a local called The Deep Resort to see if... More

Eva and her family went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy in their place and what a lovely place it is. We were a group of 9 so took over all three Fales for 5 nights. The location is amazing; walking distance to the harbour, shops and market and right on the beach, which most of... More

Just as we arrived we saw several whales leaping out of the water in front of our eyes. We couldn't believe it. We went whale watching there and my hubby couldn't get enough...sooo incredible. The rooms are tidy and adequate. You have to be pretty much a do it yourselfer in terms of food though. In other words, self service... More

We booked 2 fales for our party of 6, and we stayed for 5 nights. Deep Resort is absolute beach front, the fales are clean and the staff are very helpful. The resort is about a 3km easy walk to town, or you can be driven in by a staff member. Our two children (6 & 8yrs) spent the days... More
